The background is very well done. Although I would have probably made the environment, they are fighting more dark. You need to emphasize on your lifebars more, if you are looking for something that will make your image stand out more. The sprites are...okay. Definitely not the best nor the worse, but heh you did them in Ms Paint in which you are another example that you could do things in Paint. Nice job.

the background is done really well. I like sub zero too, though without his black hair he looks like frost. The lighting effects are also done really well too. I could picture a stage fatality or deathtrap of being thrown into the icy pillars and breaking them in half.

This looks cool (no pun intended), I like the back ground but thing that the icy floor would be more reflective than you’ve made it. Kung Lao should be in a pool of blood with those ice arrows (?) impaling him. I’m not quite sure what subzero is holding and he looks like a young punk with the blue hair but since it was done it paint I’ll let it go.

yes I really should add some story, as you can see subzero had some modifications, upon getting one of his hands chopped off by the hat of kung lao, subzero froze the stump over in a fit of rage creating what unlike the Kori blade was attached to his other hand, Sub zero could not remove this sword like thing or any of the other ice damage done to himself (stump and hair) until he got revenge by killing kung lao, until then his blood was remaining frozen in rage by his earlier defeat. having impaled the former champion sub-zero got his revenge and his arm slowly starts melting away *steam from sword*


and yes I often do FULL fakes in MS PAINT just to have something to go back to when someone posts a really bad fake and blames ms paint. Its not a bad program, its just simple and takes some talent to work well with, thank you all for the comments.

I like how you created your own original background. It looks really good. Reminds me of this one level in MKMSZ. I really like the ice floor. Also that you used shadowing for the characters. I also give you credit for trying to edit the sprites to make them different, even though sub-zero's doesnt look very good. His arms look pretty cool, but his hair doesnt. Also Kung Laos body doesnt look right to me. It looks odd with those two ice spikes? splitting him in half. The life bars dont look very good, doesnt really fit with the theme you have going on. Anyways 3.5/5
