Very, very, nice. I like the background, it goes very well with the picture. And it does look like a photograph. The chaos and wreckage in the background is an awesome portrayal of what the after math of Kahn's invasion in MK3 would look like. Stryker's design is also, very nicely done. He looks like a riot cop on edge, and his look finally fits his name. It all comes together nicely, and I think that if Stryker was presented the way you've shown him, he wouldn't be such a hated character. 10/10. Well done.

The picture, the bio, the background...man, its all perfect! You did a fantastic job with Stryker, he looks extremely real.

My **only** problem with this picture is his right arm, it looks really weird, like the angle you tried to do didn’t really work well, the arm and hand look oddly fat for me, perhaps the shadows in that arm weren’t rightly placed.

But lets get back to the positive, that’s just about everything. The expression on his face, wow, really good man. The way you made his eyes and head position is incredible! He looks so real. The accessories on his chest and belt are excellent! It suits him nicely and really screams “Stryker!” which is a good thing. Despite how different he looks in this pic, he still resembles the Stryker we all love/hate.

The hair cut is really cool, it gives him a bad ass feeling. And I like the boots, look awesome. The background fits the pic very nicely too. It almost looks like a picture, I think it is but Im sure you made most of it like the buildings and red sky. Am I right?

Another thing I really like about the entire look and feeling of this pic, is that he doesn’t look like the typical overrated and boring “EEUU Cop who only cares about people lifes and wants to save his nation”. I hate how that imagine has been overused in movies, Tv series and comic books, were these patriotic heroes are portrayed like something extremely exaggerated for a good image of their country, etc.

This man looks real, natural and conscious of what he is doing and what he is dealing with. He is not the typical tough guy, that’s a HUGE plus.

As for the bio, SmokeNc (you wrote it right?), its 100% interesting, which means its perfect. I really like how in this primary bio you decided to give us some depth info of his past involvement and not recent MKA involvement.

The best thing is probably how well you incorporated the black dragon and special forces (Sonya and Jax) so nicely. It didn’t feel forced, it all went natural. While I admit I would had rather see another sort of “criminal attack” instead of the subway disaster, I still think it was very good and kept me reading and reading to find out more.

I REALLY think Midway and the Mk Team should start worrying about the story a bit more and write extremely and detailed long bios like the one in here. I hate how almost 99% of the characters have super short bios with no real info or depth and only a few get more words written in their pics, and still, even with more words is not that deep if you know what I mean.

In conclusion Aculeus, this is one of your best pics (I still haven’t forgotten the awesome thin Sektor and the one with his weird but beautiful dragon mask) and its definitely one of your best bios. Excellent job once again, never stop.

Good God. Now THAT is what MK8 should look like!! 5/5 man, damn good job!

The bio gives a more dark and serious feel to him.The design of Stryker is great.Awesome.

I'm going to break it down like this:

Picture: Very nicely done. I like it a lot. It has a dark, gritty feel to it. The design for Stryker himself is pretty good overall. I just don't like the pose he's in and I think he should look older.

Story: Aside from a few spelling errors, there were some things that kind of bothered me.

1. I would think that Stryker would know the planet he's from. The bio makes it sound like he's ignorant of the name of the planet he's living in. Sure, he wouldn't refer to it as Earthrealm, but still, it just sounds strange the way it's worded.

2. What's the Black Dragon doing in this story? It conflicts with what happens in MK3. In MK3, the souls of those around him are being taken by Shao Kahn and he finds himself to be the lone survivor in his city.

3. Him being rescued by Sonya and Jax also conflicts with what happened. Stryker was ignorant of why he was spared until he gets a vision from Raiden, meets up with the other Earthrealm heroes, and learns of his purpose.

4. Shao Kahn, a demon? Sure, he's ugly and monsterous looking, but that doesn't make him a demon. The truth is, he's from Outworld, but we still don't know what race he's from. He does seem to rival the power of a god though.

Overall, I'm giving this a 3 out of 5.

The only problem is a nitpick of mine that might not even be true. I heard a while ago that C4 doesn't detonate unless it's set off by a detonator. There's something with the charge and whatnot. As I said, it's probably not true.
Great Bio though. I can't wait for part 2.

I think that when Stryker refers to Shao Kahn as a demon is because he has no idea what Kahn is. Makes sense IMO. Stryker is a little ignorant about the Outworld events and stuff, etc.

So that big monstrous thing is for him a demon. You are kind of right in the other flaws though.

YES.YES.YES. this IS stryker. i dont care if the bio isnt canon, this is what it should of been. as for the pic, better than the original stryker, but not as good as the one in the game informer article, as shown in my sig. the pic a little to pretty-boyish for me, since he's a cop with "nothing to lose" which dosent make much sense, since it has no explanation of why he has nothing to lose. good pic, great bio, 5/5
