Yah thats cool, u can draw. One thing i thonk you should do is put frost coming off her hairor sum ice around her hand or summtin, to give her a more of a frost look. Right now she just looks like another female ninja. Besides that its cool.

I really tried hard on this one and I think the extra effort paid off.

I'd love to add some kind of mist effect to her hair but I don't quite know how to draw something like that well. I'm afraid of screwing up the picture lol.

It's a very good drawing and yeah you did kinda give her that "cute" look, but then again, her hair and eyes don't really remind me of Frost. Still, I give it 4 Dragons since your drawing was distinctive and well done.

Cute girls are best

The actual idea behind this drawing is a "what-if" after the whole botched stealing the amulet thing... Kinda the idea right here.

Sub Zero brings Frost back to the Lin Kuei temple and Frost finally recovers physically... Emotionally she is just trashed. The shame she feels wasn't because she wasn't strong enough to control the amulet but more or less because she completely disgraced herself in front of someone that truly believed in her. Even after all she had done to Sub Zero he still chose to forgive her. Kindness and sympathy never struck Frost very well and she more or less feels she doesn't deserve it. She then begins to develop a bit of a personality disorder, one where she believes she could never fully repay Sub Zero for everything he's done for her. Everything she does is a failure in her mind.

Without warning she leaves the temple because the emotional stress she feels is tearing her apart... She changes her casual outfit styles, her hair, everything to give herself a clean slate. Even refusing to even consider herself worthy of being Sub Zero's student... She still keeps a psuedo Lin Kuei outfit as a reminder that she was once a member of the clan and was once Sub Zero's most cherished student. Kind of as a reminder of what she could once again become when she is worthy. She begins to cross the world to retrain herself physically and mentally and to do as much good as she can for the people she encounters along the way. All this to make up for something that Sub Zero had already forgiven her for.

Just try to imagine that whole story when you look at this pic. The emotional desperation she would feel, it really gives the pic a bit more impact.

mm, Much better than the first. But her.... *gets oriented* Left leg looks to be at the wrong angle or something... Did you use a reference? If anything, her foot wouldn't be viewable like that at this angle.

Well, I didn't really use a reference per se but this is a typical anime/manga pose for girls for some reason. I see it a lot (like in an old character sketch of Alice in Bloody Roar 1, for example) and it's been adorable every time i've seen it so I thought I'd draw Frost in that pose lol.

K, maybe try it with the reference next time. ;) There's so many of them out there, it seems almost a shame for you to get the angles wrong, if you get my meaning ^_~
