Can't comment on the story, but I can see you tried to make him look a little younger. I guess that's what the spiky hair and goatee are about. Needs serious anatomy work and quite a bit more detail.

My guess is your going more for the concept than the drawing.

I think I missed the concept. I get he is a shokan and related to Goro. Am I missing a difference from other Shokans or is the story the concept? Well the drawing needs a little work, like stated above work on the anatomy. Overall not bad, but needs improvments on the upper torso.

Yea, I know I'm not that great at drawing the anatomical aspects of people (or Shokan). The thing is, I have some artistic talent, but I never took the time to develop it and try to master the techniques, or take art classes. Also, don't expect to see any remakes of my old pictures. If I draw something once and am reasonably happy with it, I won't be able to draw it again.

Anyway, I mainly drew this as a concept for the kind of Shokan I would like to see as a playable character in a future MK. Basically this character is a very young Shokan, only about 800 years old (comparable to a 16 year old). He'd be about 6'7" so while he'd still be big, he wouldn't be as overpowering as Goro and Kintaro. I still have to do some work on his story, but I should have that posted at some point today.

Okay, I finished his story, as well as his stats and stuff.

Fighting Styles: Shokan Fist, Kuatan.
Weapon: Shokan double sword (basically, 2 broadswords placed 180 degrees from each other and connected by a foot-long staff).

After his father Goro’s death, Balgor became an important leader of the Shokan armies. Although he lacks experience and can be impulsive, he is a very skilled warrior.
Eager to prove his ability in military tactics, he made use of the alliance between the Centaurs and the Shokan, arranged by his father and Princess Kitana, by organizing a blockade composed of the armies of the two races to guard the portals to Earthrealm against the forces of the Dragon King. However, a surprise attack led by Noob Saibot massacred the blockade, allowing the Dragon King’s forces to breach the portals. In addition, the Shokan-Centaur alliance is on the verge of collapse due to the plan’s failure.
Despite the warnings of his friend Kitana, Balgor tread heedlessly into the realm of Earth seeking vengeance against Noob Saibot, also hoping that in doing so he would repair the crumbling alliance. However, he was unaware of another shadow-clad warrior following him. Only Kitana noticed this threat to her friend while monitoring his position, and set off after him to help.

I'll come up with his special moves and fatalities later.

I like the idea, but your drawing does need some work as born-again-vampire said.

i dont like it. you should stick to fakes srry. EDIT: actually i like the whole story and idea of it. not really that bad.

Having now read the concept I think it's pretty good. Idea is very well thought out. I would change the name but other than that, very good.
