I decided not to include the standard mask, since my goal was to create a Scorpion which was more Hanzo Hasashi than spectre. Becoming the Champion of the Elder Gods could purify his soul, I thought. The traditional black headwear and deep eyes were included incase his appearance would look nothing like him. I named his new axe Godsend, a weapon which was repossessed from Monster by the Senate and presented to Scorpion. I am open to both opinions, so please help me to improve on my upcoming illustration.

Me neither. My main goal was to remove his mask, and instead of looking at another image of Scorpion I tried to draw him for memory. The body looks totally stupid, I know. I think that's why I stopped at his waist.

I'm not replying to your opinion, but that you think that it isn't Mortal Kombat related. I begun drawing this with Scorpion in mind, and if it doesn't look anything like him it is because I didn't bother to look at a picture of him beforehand. I'm sorry if you can't see anything of Scorpion in there, that's just how I draw.
Who says it has to look anything like him, anyway? This is how I perceive him in my mind, and if you can't see it, why bother with an opinion?

It's very well-drawn, but the nose and mouth really don't look right, IMO. Too brutish, I guess. 4/5
