That pic is pretty creative and very emotional. I'm not in love with the style you used on it, but all in all it's an awesome pic. 4 1/2 dragons from me.

Wow, I agree with VenoMark on the hair detailing. CLutch Photoshop work there. Very good work on blending the softer shadows and highlights. Burn/Dodge tool, I presume? Heh, I abuse those along with smudge when I attempt cg *pitiful- I know*
I think my favorite part is the exquisite detailing in the flag of hair at the bottom- as well as the highlighing on the black parts.

One lil gripe- They lack shadows underneath them- kinda looks like they're floating on the canvas. Easy to fix though.

Impressive as hell RamonSpoon, I can see what ya were refering to with the style issue. I like it. An acquired taste perhaps, but still well-detailed 8)

Yeah, Burn and Dodge are my friends. ^_^ I don't like having to change the colors every third stroke manually, and as I don't have PS 7 yet where it'll do that for me (w007), I figure B&D is enough. Another thing you may not know that I do... Mwahahaha... Scorp's coverall thing was grey whilst I shaded it. ^_^ And I added color later! *evil laughter* Yes I cheat.
Smudge Tool is God XD I can't stand Cell Shading... Looks to artificial. Plastic... whatever.
Yeah, I didn't do anything for scenery because I was getting tired of the damn picture not being done.. Quite honestly I almost forgot to color in her mouth oO I figure I'll add some grass later on when I'm not so creatively drained.

It's not against the rules to bump Fan Submissions thread, although, I think he should more details in his critizations and opinions if he's going bump threads that are this old.
