Why do you always feel that you need to tell us the time you spent on it? Does it make you any less of an artist if you admit you actually put some quality time into it? Anyways, cant I say I dig this concept, doesnt fit Scorpion at all imo. Plus Noob is already established as the "MK reaper". Also I cant tell if you darkened the background for ambience or you just didnt feel like detailing those apsects. 2/5

This your best yet. Your shadowing skills has improved. I'm not really into bolded outline around the hand but I can see why you drew it that way.

Its a running thing. I've been saying it for so long, I kind of expect it outta myself, ya know? Plus I try to draw better stuff faster, speed drawing and all that, so leaving this little notation telling myself how long something took is a way of gauging how much better and more efficient I've become when I draw. ^_^

Also, I don't really do backgrounds, as for the most part, that would detract away from what I draw. Heavy shadows tend to conflict when a heavy shadowed building is present. Together, they'd create something that you really couldn't make out. Now, the random background thats on it was done for dramatic effect, but as you can see, the heavy darkness doesn't bode well with the rest of the drawing.

In addition, while the rest of the fans have generally placed Noob as a 'grim reaper' character, doesn't mean I have to. -_-

no offesnse, but i hate artists who tries to make them sound so special when they tell us how fast they drew the picture becuase A. i'm not beleiving them unless i see them draw that fast, or 2. they're lying to make them look like they can draw that fast. speed does nothing for pictures.

but enough complaining, seeing how you gave scorpion a diffferent look is something i haven't seen since i saw him looking like a samurai on a different website. which is cool, but i'm not sure if its just the stance that hes in right now or not, but it looks like his chest is too small for a guy with a big head.

The time is really so I can see how well I've progressed with my speed. Drawing fast is imperative for the fields I'm going to be going into, so the faster I work, the better. I can assure that the times are accurate. Hell, if I owned a webcam I'd make a video of myself drawing and put it up on youtube for the sole purpose of putting your suspicions to rest. ^_^

As for the head being to large, yeah, it's not the pose. I fucked up. ^_-
