Very cool concept. That's not too far from what Saika was originally supposed to look like, but things change. Either way, I like this alot.

I like this picture. Nice color and drawing skills. I like to pose of her, but try to work on the face a little. You have gotten a flawless from me.

Yeah Chrome, I used Photoshop to color it.


....and yeah, I realize that there are some obvious small mistakes in her design. I never said I was a perfect anatomy drawer.

Since you've said you were aware of some of th small mistakes you made, I won't mention them here. I think it's a very nice drawing, though. Much better than the usual drawings seen here now.

My favourite thing about this submission is probably the character's appearance itself, though. I've always wanted a true female ninja in the game... not like Kitana or Mileena's one piece bathing suits, but more true to life ninja. Frost was really the closest thing I've seen so far that fits that description, and even she was a bit too "out of proportion" in some areas. This is another reason I like the appearance here, not out of proportion at all. This is a pleasant change from most female characters currently in Mortal Kombat... not that there is anything wrong with their appearances I suppose, but I would like some diversity... and a female character than focused on fighting more than just appearances. That even enhances their appearance... at least, in my opinion.

Love the weapon too. MK definitely needs a chain-type weapon in the future. :>

Shit, now I gotta do more of her. XD She really is a fun character to fool around with, and I think she has a solid enough background and style that makes her original enough. I have almost her entire backstory thought up....just gotta get it on paper.

...you can make up whatever you damn well please. If people don't like it, then they can move on. In the tourny I honestly tried to round her out a little better, and if I was to flesh her out more I'd throw in more depth.
