The overall concept is good, Not enough gore, and movement fluidity is good enough, however When the hits connect you gotta work on selling the hits a bit better. Blood and gore. When you do a kick in the air, even if they are standing they should be rocked back. When you do a sweeping kick, they should fall unless blocking or evading. It's the little things that make MK so great. Even without blood and gore, I would play it though, with much respect to the designer.
