I don't like it. Where's the details of his face? I just think its horrid, sorry, but you did a good job at drawing Tsung's body but it looks like you rushed this one, 3/5.

I don't think MK fans are used to art styles that don't try to adhere to standards of CG pseudo-photo realism.
Different styles infer details in different ways. The moustache is there. The face is there. It's all very vibrant and graphic! Apparenlty, a little broader perspective helps recognise that, though.

If I had a complaint, it would probably be the pose.
It strikes me as a little more Mandrake, than Shang Tsung. Not necessarily a bad thing in general. I like the idea of seeing some more familiar mystic iconography in Shang Tsung's treatment, but the straight legs with the flourish strike me as a little too fancy. I like Shang Tsung to maintain a little bit of stature. A bit more Dr. Strange, with his own strong vein. (On that note: I'm not much of a fan of this outfit. Much prefer the red robes).

I don't know what use Midway really has for a talented graphic artist (unless you have other skills), but if you aren't working up a sequential portfolio for comics, or at least working on covers or pin-ups, there really is something wrong with the world!

If I had any money I'd try to employ you myself!

Anyway, back to the artist and his art. I like your style Jax. Keep doin' what you do. Can we expect to see your rendition of Kahn too now that his render's out? There's not nearly enough fan art of him either.
