A demon is what I am and what I will be for the rest of my life. Working for Quan Chi for centuries has left me thinking that I will never become a freed person because of him. I could try to escape from him, but he somehow manages to make me come back, working for him under harsher conditions than before. Making me realize that this is my purpose in life that being a demon is what I'll always be. I've been fighting this evil throughout my life, I showed myself that I do have some sense of good in me after trying to help Sub-Zero in his mess when he was in the Netherrealm. Helping him free himself from this evil grasp that he has... Many years later, I discovered this strange portal that Quan Chi and this other person used to escape from the Netherrealm. I was placed in Outworld.

There was a strange magical essence that was in this realm. With this essence, it transformed myself into a human. Finally, a chance to feel what a human is like. But I wasn't really alone in this realm... Sub-Zero was standing right in front of me after I regained my human self. But this is not the Sub-Zero I helped in the past. He told me that his brother died in Mortal Kombat, and in gratitude, he took his brother's name. He said that he owes me one for helping his brother many years ago by granting me sanctuary with the Lin Kuei. I accepted and told him that I will help defend his academy, but I still sense my old self within me... Befriending a demon isn't a good thing to do, even if I do feel some good in me.

But time flew by, this power that I obtained from Outworld was wearing off, and I was feeling completely weak. I lost myself between this battle of being a human and a demon... All because he was there...

Quan Chi gave me a lashing like I've never felt before, a horrible way to get me to return to work for him once again. So, I had no choice but to be his servant for more years. I was with my other ``sisters'' Kia and Jataaka. We were now affiliating ourselves with the Red Dragon as Quan Chi expects this clan can do heavy damage all around Earthrealm. We were waiting for our boss to come back. But instead, we got Mavado, and he was bringing some woman who was all battered and bruised to us. Her clothing looks so familiar, as if she was once apart of the Lin Kuei, I recognized that symbol on her belt buckle... I promised Sub-Zero...

When Mavado and the others left, I took this chance to help this girl to her freedom. I know what would happen to me, but I feel that this girl needs to get out of here. I will deal with the harsh punishment when Quan Chi returns, I'd rather feel that than having her deal with it. I remember that this place had an underground passageway that can lead her away from this place. This was once Quan Chi's hideout, now the Red Dragon took over... I gave her a map and showed her how to get out. I know that this girl and I will cross paths once again.

My sisters came back, seeing that I was in the room all by myself. They looked furious.

``Where is she? Where is the prisoner?'' Kia asked as she started to search around the room.

``I brought her to the cells already.''

``Mavado said that they were full, how can you bring her there?'' Jataaka asked.

``There was more room than he thought.''

``I don't believe you... I haven't believed you since you helped that mortal be freed from the Netherrealm.'' Jataaka said as she came closer with a knife in her hand. I licked my lips.

``Believe me, I wouldn't betray you guys. I learned my lesson the first time, I wouldn't betray you, you're my sisters.'' Jataaka was still creeping towards me, not beliving a single word.

``You have the tendency to free prisoners, we've noticed that several prisoners that we brought were mysteriously disappearing. You are being held responsible if that girl isn't in the cells.'' Kia and Jataaka actually bought my excuse, this was the perfect time to leave the scene before they came back. I headed in the same direction I sent that girl through.

I saw that Goro was killed, this girl is definitely Lin Kuei material. I reached the end within a matter of minutes but I saw Quan Chi and Shang Tsung out there, this girl fell into a trap. I overheard their conversation, talking about how they knew that I was releasing prisoners. This isn't good for me...

I have to escape, find someone to help me and I know who to go to.
