Not only a 10/10 drawing and quality... but also a 10/10 for re-design of the character and a 10/10 for a VERY interesting story
Wow dude, you're just too good no? I bet you work with Boon and make all this stuff to get info about new plotlines and new characters from us No, really, that's impressive. I bet you could make the worst MK character and make him/her look like the best! Well, you actually did with Stryker and now with Meat, which I considered a really waste of time character. I don't know your current occupation, but you could easily work for any game company man. Keep'em coming!

This is really a cool concept for Meat. My hat goes off to the both of you. Making Meat a ranking soldier in Onaga's army was really clever. It gives him a real personality instead of being just a character to take up space. Too bad the MK Team hardly looks at things like this. Anyway, awesome job for not so awesome a character. 5/5 Great job, the both of you.

Excellent. 5/5 to both the writer and the artist.
I actually really like this concept. Like others said, its gives Meat an identity, a reason for being, intrigue and relevance to the current story.

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate your input!
viktor: Basically I start with a fairly finished pencil drawing that is inked, and then scanned into Photoshop. Once in PS, I select the "inked" portion of the image (with the magic wand tool) and make that a separate layer. Then I lay down all the flat color layers beneath the "ink" layer to maintain that comic art feel. I keep each color on a separate layer so they're easier to keep track of. For Meat, all the dark gold in on a separate layer, the cloth is on a separate layer, his flesh, exc. Then it's just a matter of selecting each color and adding the highlights and the shadows (all on separate layers as well) to give everything a more realistic look. The PS tool I use the most by far is the paintbrush tool. The key is to select the right brush for the desired effect. Eventually I might post some fan art that shows each of the above steps... with the finished product of course.
DragoNEn3rgY: Meat was a secret "uniform" you could select in MKG and the home versions of MK4. You could play him with any character's moves. It's pretty funny and weird to see your character doing his or her thing with very little body tissue.

EDIT: Aculeus beat me to it. Could someone explain whom Meat is, and which game he is from?
The majority of MK fans don't consider Meat to be any more than a "cool alternate costume", which is why I decided to give him an actual story that tied in with Onaga, since as soon as I saw the mummified soldiers in MK:DA, I had thought that we'd see Meat joining their ranks.
Within the month, expect to see his full biography explaining what he had to go through to bring back Onaga. Of course, expect Meat's story to tie-in with a few other characters...

This is the best Meat-related stuff I've ever seen.
To say the least, I'd like that story to happen.

Just Wow, Full Marks on this. Great bio, and great art. Neat design, original, and creative. Nice to see an unused character being made noticeable and a candidate to be involved in the future MK games once again. Great work on the flesh, and the overall design. Just a wish, i'd like to see a darker version of this if it was possible, considering if you're not too busy with time and workload. Let's say that Meat becomes the next leader of Outworld.
Great work to the both of you.

Wow. At first I saw this in the forum and was like "Meat Bio ftw", but I knew since it was coming from you it'd be something awesome. When I checked it out, I was more than right. I really like the idea of him being an undead soldier from the DK's army. I love the armor, he looks like someone you don't wanna mess with. I actually like his color scheme too. You just gave the worst MK character in history a better story and potential than most of the others. Good job guys. 5/5

Another big “WOW”!
I cant believe I missed this new bio pic from you, its simply amazing. Like someone said, this pic and bio prove that any character (no matter how underdeveloped or underrated he/she is) has potential to become one of the most important elements in te story and a fan fave.
I have never seen so many people talking about Meat in such a happy and dreamy way.
Where can I start? The face, its just....*shivers*, is it me or does meat truly look disgusting in a positive way? I love the detail of his evil face, its superb. The pose is very simple, but it was a great chose in order to have a full decent view of the costume.
I honestly would had loved to see more detail in the armor, but the gold suits him nicely and its drawn in such an excellent fashion that it simply gets a:
5/5. Excellent job once again!
As for the bio, WOW!!! Jerrod, very very good creative and original stuff. I love every single thing about it. Like I said earlier, this just proves that everyone has potential if well developed. I love everything about your bio, and its very interesting to see the suspense in which you have left us.
I mean, Im wondering, whats that that Onaga knows about and no one else knows? Is Meat being fooled and used along side the entire army and isn’t he aware that what Onaga wants is to erase all existence and fuse it into him?
Very good job in leaving a slight suspense in your bio. I love it.
5/5 to you too.

As with my other bios, this will be one that will not take anything from Deception into account, and when I say anything, I do mean anything;
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
I have no intention of using Onaga's Deception storyline, which means that I won't be using the One Being, the Kamidogu, or the fusion of the realms.

I have bigger plans in store for Onaga, and Meat's going to help him in every way, shape, and form, and not the way Shujinko did (as a naive fool).
