Midget Kombat?

He sorta looks like Axel Steel from Guitar Hero

okay since you said that you're just getting into drawing, i'll critique as best as i can.

personally, for a drawing by someone new into it, it's actually pretty good, but theres alot of things you need to work on if you want to get better at.

the face, you should try and center it, make it more proportioned to his head, especially since it's a straight front shot.

aswell you should'nt make his chin so big, a word of advice? always draw the face itself first, then draw the chin and jaw line, doing it the other way you'll have a 50/50 chance of making the face too small or too big for the chin/jaw line casing.

aswell make the eyes smaller, they're far too big, aswell the mouth should be fixed a bit, having a small "v" divet in the middle (where the top lip and the bottom lip meet, thus making the mouth) could help aswell.

now the hair is actually really well done for a beginner, though making more "v-shaped" lines for hair strands would be better.

now the hand is great! hand's are one of the hardest parts of the body to draw, and you did a very good job at doing his fist, though his thumb's nail is sticking out a bit too much, it's still very good.

the body could use some work, like making his body wider due to his head's size, aswell the neck is a bit too thick for that thin of a body (i understand, i can see by his pec's he's at a side-ish angle, but his body is still far too thin), you should try and either make his neck and head smaller, or make his body larger to conform to his head.

all in all, for a beginner this is a very nice drawing, though you need to work on some things, you show alot of promise though, ALOT of promise, keep praciticing.

and one last tip of advice, have a picture of the character with you while your drawing as a quick reference, it can help you out.

o_O;; I really don't like this drawing. If this is your first attempt in drawing, keep trying and practicing. The shading is ok. The face and body... it's too horrid looking. The arm looks too short. The fist and the wrist guard looks ok (put more details!). The face looks rather scary and needs more practice. In my opinion, this looks more like a very bad attempt into drawing this 'cartoonish' style. You get 1/5 from me. Keep practicing.

Hmm... If the topic was "Liu Kang's Midget Grandma", i'd give you 5DP's.
But since that is supposed to be Liu Kang, i say 1/5. I'm only giving this a 1 to be nice... Actually, i'm being too nice here. You could have done alot better.

I never have drawed a picture before, except 3, my KAK, Sub Zero and Noob Saibot. And they all turned alot better than this one even though they were my first.

Well, the number one advice i'd give you is... Don't make him so, midget-ish. His arm is half as short, and he looks like Liu's grandma. It seriously looks more like a girl than a guy.

Like i said, i rate this 1/5.
But keep trying and you will get better.

Now.This is a little goofy the eyes look sinister though the traces of lines around the eyes look good.The spikey bracelet is not half bad.But the muscular features arent to big for Liu Kang.

Overall this could be a lot better not a Liu Kang look at all.2.5/5
