Cool! I like it a lot! I wish I could do faces as well as this, as it's a weak spot in my own work...

Your pencil skills are excellent. I just don't have the patience to do them right.
This is definatly a different look for Ermac, good idea. Only thing is that it stands out to me that the head is from one place and the body another. If a guys got a neck that big he should probably be a little more bulky and less trim. Other than that very nice.

I must have over looked that part of the story, but then again if he's made from fallen warriors, maybe he got his look from one of them Mongolians. LOL But in all reality, I didn't try for a certain look.
And about his body, I drew the body with pencil before adding the uniform in pen, I know how to do human anatomy, in fact the human body is what I scored the highest on when I went to school for art. His body is in fact proportioned, however it may not appear that way to you due to the fact he is wearing a uniform. You take any bodybuilder and put clothes on them, the illusion of their build appears smaller. That's reality, that's why I draw his figure without the uniform first, to make sure he is proportioned.

Excellent. I'm suprised how real it came out. I'm not a huge fan of the facial concept, but the quality of it is good. My only complain is that I figured he would look better with a full head of hair tied back. But still, it looks great.

That's an awesome costume you designed. The only thing I don't like is his face.

Very good, it's very proffesional. Ever thought of getting a job in the games industry?

That's a great drawing. I like the distinctive look of the ninja costume and the face and head of the Ermac sort of resembles him....
Well tell you what blacksaibot, why don't you draw Ermac and give him the face you think he should have. He's a warrior, I personally don't think he should look like a pretty boy.

Don't be upset with his comment. You need to get use to comments like that working in the industry, it always helps your work in the end. To you it may look incredible but have you ever tried putting your drawings in front of a mirror? it gives you a completely different perspective of your pic.

I think superninja is speaking a lot of truth. Criticism can be very helpful, along with any ways you can think of to get a different perspective on your drawings. I usually flip it on the comp or invert the colors. I have found that inverting the colors helps to see any proportion problems.
I really like this Ermac. Great interpretation of the character. But I am biased cause I always enjoy a drawing that has its own unique look but is still recognizeable as an existing character.
Great job.
I'm not upset at his comment, but I feel that the illustration is mine and my vision. Just because one doesn't agree with how I illustrated his facial features, doesn't mean it's critiquing. He wants the face drawn a different way, he can do it. About working in the business, this is not a business just a posting. So if you're not in that line of business yourself, then I don't believe you have much to say about the business aspect. Being that Ermac has never been visualized without his mask in any of the MK series, so however I illustrate his facial features is my vision, and if someone doesn't agree, then they can only try and do it but make the illustration look however they desire. Also, show me a bit of your work, it'll be nice to how the skills of those who critique me. If you have none, then your words mean absolutely shit.

Wow, that sounds exactly like what I go through. :> But he's right; you're going to have to deal with such comments. Don't like it, don't show off.
And for the record, just because someone can't illustrate their ideas onto paper doesn't mean their critiques are shit. Pull your head out of your ass and look around. There are things called anatomy books, physics books, fabric, photographs... People don't need to have the unique ability to draw well in order to see that YOU screwed up somewhere because you didn't look at any one of these listed.
You're not some know-it-all genious just because you have mad-skills with pencil and paper. So don't cop an attitude like you are.
Well Ramspoon, I seen your work and you have no room to talk shit yourself son. So take your own advice and pull your own head out of your ass. Not a damn thing wrong with the face I chose to give Ermac. Problem is that people like yourself have no talent so you bring your jealousy up on me. Before you give advice about my work should be better, why don't you follow your own advice and buy books and so on kid. I went to school for fine arts. So you can blow me. The problem with you is you have no vision, and you have no aspect of human anatomy yourself after seeing your own work. Don't dick on me till you get yourself straight.

I always pictured Ermac of looking dead, with a muscle like face similar to Drahmin...but at the time I thought of this Drahmin wasn't around yet.
Anyhow, good job.

Thanks bro. You think he'd be kinda like the undead? Not dead like Scorpion, but not quite alive? hehehe Vampire Ermac. Yeah maybe I can see that.
