I like this fake, although there are a few things I don't understand.

Bad points:
I don't really get why you have the extra names by the first name, like you have Sub-Zero next to Ermac, I don't really get it.
The Abyss edit looks a bit cartoonish.
You used that SAME ERMAC SPRITE that everyone uses, and it doesn't really look like it has much relevance to what's happening in the fake.
No shadows.

Good points:
Although cartoonish, the edit of Abyss is flawless.
The background edit is fantastic, what with the acid flowing through the cracks in the ground, and the spirit rising from the background.
You included a win mark.

Overall, I give this 4/5.

The point is that it's a MK VS Marvel cross-over. In the VS Marvel series, players have 3 characters each.

Not half as cartoonish as he looks in the actual game(MvsC2). I tried to find a balance between the two styles. By the way, I created the sprite from scratch, using a photo of an ancient armor.

Granted. I just liked the look of it. The idea is that he's taking a euphoric winning pose.

OMG, I'm sorry, I forgot about the lifebar situation, I haven't played the game in such a long time. Seeing as it was intended to be an MK vs Marvel crossover, it's now a 4.5/5. The only thing I don't like is the Ermac sprite. Maybe if you edited that slightly, by making him look in Abyss' direction, but still be celebrating, that would be perfect, because at the moment, it looks like he's trying to measure how tall the guy is.

If this is really suppose to be like the Marvel vs games, there should be three lifebars instead of just one with three names.

I gotta hand it to you though, that Abyss sprite looks AWSOME compared to the in game one. Nice job.

Actually, there are. Look closely. It might even require you to increase the brightness of your computer screen, but there's really three on each side.

the best part is the way you did the lifebars

i see so many vs fakes with three bars and they all look gay. this time i like it, the way you made them smaller and under neath each other, never played that other game, not sure if thats how they made them, but good job anyways.

I like the green "goo" stuff gushing out here and there. But I noticed a little areas that are blurred, which I don't enjoy as much.

The armor looks like it is from D2 and not aligned properly
The abyss spite is huge in comparison to the Background

The Bad:

- The Ermac sprite seems to be overused in fakes, although it blends well with what's going on in the fake.


The Good:

-That BG is awesome, very good effort.

- The Abyss sprite that you made/edited is very good.

- I like that neon green effect you put on the dead body. It blends in very well with the BG.


This is a very good first fake. I hope all the other fakes you'll make in the future will be as good as this one. I give it a 9.5/10. Good job.

3 year bump....not bad.

Nice job on the goo on the ground. I like how it flowed through the cracks. But i just dont get why are ther names on the side of the player and the opponent. Is it like a tag-team battle? But I like everything else about the picture so i give u a 4/5.

If you are going to bump a thread this old. At least do it with a more constructive critique.
