This 18th-Century French manor is full of history and beauty. And what comes with history comes with misery. Inside a room near the ballroom of the manor, there are an abundance of ghosts, believed to be former Etienne clan members.
The stage starts off at the viewing box room on the ceiling of the ballroom. Knocking the opponent into a window will bring them down to the actual ballroom. The ballroom is full of tables and chairs which can be used against the opponent ala Powerstone. There is a big door with a spooky face on it. That leads to.........
Death Trap: Ghastly Possession
After knocking the opponent into the ghouly doors, they fall into a dark room. White ghosts appear and start entering the opponent's body. Running out scared, the opponent explodes before reaching you. The ghosts fly back into their chamber.
Stage Weapon: Double-Sided Battle Axe.
This is found underneath one of the tables in the ballroom. The name says it all.

Special Moves:
Ear Smack - Etienne dashes up to the opponent and smacks their ears. This causes the opponent to lose their hearing for a few seconds (not good in dark arenas at all)
Tube Dust - Etienne throws a flask of radioactive material at the opponent, blinding them for a few seconds.
Vichy Strike - Etienne jumps and slices an X on the opponent with his sabre.
Fatalities:
Organic Nuclear Reaction - Etienne grabs a syringe from his jacket, which has a radioactive symbol on it. He injects it into his sword, and then cuts the opponent's face. The opponent starts screaming, but then stops in bedazzlement as his scar starts scabing up. His head starts to "bubble up" to enlarge his head, until when his head cannot take anymore. The opponent head explodes with a fleshy mushroom cloud. The remains of his head flop over his neck like a busted can.

Slice and Dice: Etienne pushes his opponent. While the opponent falls from the push, Etienne rapidly slices him with his sabre into multiple pieces. What falls on the ground are only fragments of gore and bone.

Etienne grabs his sabre and raises it above his head, with the tip of the blade closest to his head. He rams it through his skull entirely, and dies instantly.

Bio:
The Etienne clan has always have had links with radical movements and crime organisations. They were once the highest financial supporters for Hitler and Nazi Germany. The current Etienne that holds the leadership title of Count of Vichy is Pierre. He has been the most ruthless yet graceful of the Etiennes. His skill in fencing has placed him high in the ranks of the Red Dragon, and his influence in French politics forced the French not to support America in the War against Iraq. Rumour says that Etienne is an extreme Sadist, and is a close ally of the Islamic extremist group, el-Raadia-Islamia.

Since learning of Mavado's death by Kabal, the former Black Dragon that was thought to be killed by the Red Dragon leader, Etienne began to campaign to be the new leader. In a landslide, the Count of Vichy takes the reigns of the Red Dragon and sets a new focus for the clan: to seize political, economical and military control of Europe and Asia. Europe was basically in Etienne's control, but there's a hurdle in the way of controlling Asia: The Lin Kuei.

The Red Dragon was in a stalemate: they wanted to expand their control to Asia, but they needed their ranks to stay alive to maintain power and control. Etienne remember Mavado talking about hiring Galman, the infamous gang leader from Outworld, to perform Operation: Doubledown (the annihilation of both the Black Dragon and the US Special Forces in one strike; this was given to Hsu Hao in the end, due to Galman's no show). Getting a third party to do the dirty work of destroying the Lin Kuei from existence would make it easier for Etienne to glide through and gain control of most of Asia (Japan and China excluded).

Etienne knew a front on assault would be too risky for their mission, so it was decided that Galman would become a Lin Kuei, gain the Grandmaster Sub Zero's trust, and at the right time, lead an attack from the inside. To the Red Dragon's surprise, Galman showed up a day after deciding what course of action to take on the Lin Kuei.

Etienne told him what his mission was, and assigned him with Frost, the icy femme fatal that has been giving the clan a pain with her outbursts of demand for promotion and power. With the two gone to the Artic Circle, all Count Etienne had to do was to wait. But, Galman made him wait too long.

The Count of Vichy felt that Galman had second thoughts about the mission, mainly because of the ``postponements'' of the attack. It also happen that a Japanese clan, the Tekukien, had recently gained control of its own country. Etienne knew that he couldn't just walk in and take over most of Asia without assistance or allegiance with Sektor, the leader of the Tekukien and now Emperor of Japan. So, he arranged with Sektor to help each other with taking over Asia and destroying the Lin Kuei. Sektor offered to kill Galman, who was changing sides in this battle.

Two weeks had past, and Frost had already fallen to Etienne's orders to seize the Dragon Medallion off Sub-Zero. Not so long after, Etienne ordered his men, lead by el-Humad, the Arabian Taipan, alongside with Sektor and his Tekukien to destroy the Lin Kuei. Sektor arrived to the Vichy Manor to report that while many Red Dragon and Tekukien had died, including el-Humad, he had been successful of both destroying the Lin Kuei and Galman. This should have been comforting for Etienne, learning the news that both the hurdle and the backstabber have been dealt with in one strike. But it wasn't. Galman had killed too many Red Dragons for Etienne to lead a successful campaign for the control of Asia, and the way that Sektor described how killed Galman didn't sound believable. Etienne knew that Galman was still alive, and he will come and kill him. It will be only a matter of time.
