Basic Review:

Rorak was a man once known as Decreot, and is a master of Kung Fu. Decreot was a family man, but had his responsibilites as a Kung Fu master. Each year he would move to a different location, so he may teach in different Dojos. Decreot was one day eating dinner with his family, when all of a sudden Noob Saibot and Smoke summoned him to Outworld. They planned to have Decreot as their assistant to take over and kill Shao Kahn. Decreot refused, and they all fought. Decreot won the fight, but not easily. After the death of Noob Saibot and Smoke, he then realized that he had no way to home, so he searched around Outworld, until he found Reptile. Reptile was to take Decreot home, if he would gain back his "stolen" medalion from a warrior known as Scorpion.

When Decreot attempted to retrieve the medallion from Scorpion, a new deal was made. Since Decreot realized that the medallion actually belonged to Scorpion, he made a bargain. If Decreot was to help Scorpion find the sorcerer known as Quan Chi, then Decreot was to be taken home. The deal was made, and they were both summoned to the Netherrealm. During his search for Quan Chi, Decreot found Shujinko, a former student of his, walk into a portal. As Decreot was curious, he followed Shujinko into the portal, and came out in the Nexus. Three portals were opened, one which he recognized led to Earthrealm, his home. Decreot hurried home, to find his family dead. Shang Tsung was at the scene of the house, and killed Decreot.

Decreot many days later, found himself living again, but he wasn't himself. His soul was being lifted up from a Soulnado, and was being placed inside a body of Onaga's mummified army. As Decreot could see Shang Tsung, but not move, his anger rose. And as it rose, he began to gain more control of his movements. He finally was able to move, and attempted to strike Shang Tsung. As Quan Chi and Shang Tsung were companions at that point, Quan Chi protected his ally, and sent Decreot flying. Decreot then fled, as he realized he was outmatched between the two sorcerors. As he made a costume to hide his hideous face and body, his former title as Decreot was abandoned, and he took on a new name, known as Rorak.

Story of Rorak:

Rorak was now on his own, as he walked down the many roads of Outworld, he had many flashbacks of his recent events. His family was killed by a sorcerer known as Shang Tsung. For Shang Tsung's ignorance, he must die by the hands of Rorak. Rorak continued down the roads, when he saw ahead a campfire. The brightness of the fire attracted him, as everywhere else was dark, and cold. He head towards the fire, and started to hear a faint voice. As he got closer and closer to the campfire, he could hear the words more clearly. He could hear the names of Quan Chi, and Shang Tsung being mentioned, which meant he hurried to hear the conversation.

"I can no longer stand idly by and watch this evil consume the world.
I have relinquished my status of Elder God to return to Earth and lead you all to battle against our old adversaries.
We must act now.
We must stop this Deadly Alliance!"

Rorak recognized the speaker of these words as Raiden, the thunder god. Rorak hid behind a near by rock, to hide his presence from Raiden and the other mortals which were surrounding him. He looked all around, and saw a few warriors that had a determined look on their faces. One he recognized as Sub Zero, leader of the Lin Kuei. Others weren't that high in reputation for Rorak to notice, all he good see fit is that those warriors were talking about the newly born alliance, known as the Deadly Alliance. Remembering of the mention of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, Rorak new that those two sorcerers are who Raiden was talking about.

Raiden then scurried his warriors, and watched as they ran off to the unknown parts of Outworld. Once they were out of sight, Raiden then said something that Rorak least expected.

Raiden: "Black warrior, you may come out from behind the rock which you hide."

Rorak was stunned at these words, how did Raiden know that he was there? And why hasn't he mentioned about it before, as he was talking to his warriors. Rorak hesitated at first, but finally started to walk out from behind the rock. He looked at Raiden, who was still staring at the point where his warriors fled. After a few seconds of silence, Raiden then turned around to Rorak, and started to speak to him.

Raiden: "Warrior, I am well aware that you have been listening to our conversation. And by the looks, you were indeed interested. What role do you take of the Deadly Alliance?"

Rorak: "Don't take me for some scum that serves Shang Tsung! I would never serve that man!"

Raiden: "So you are indeed against Shang Tsung then. And if you are against Shang Tsung, then you must be against the sorcerer known as Quan Chi as well."

Rorak: "Get to the point, thunder god."

Raiden: "Your words are in a mocking tone warrior, I am giving you an oppertunity to destroy Shang Tsung, but yet, you turn against my words and start chaos. I want your help to bring down Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.

Rorak: "Why would you want my help? You don't even know half of who I am."

Raiden: "Decreot, former Kung Fu master. You once lived in a local village in Earthrealm, and are now known as Rorak."

Rorak: "How... how did you know that?"

Raiden: "I am a former elder god, I have well known knowledge of all the villagers that are living, or used to live in Earthrealm. My status as elder god has been resigned to help these mortals in the fight against the Deadly Alliance, but I was an elder god long enough to know more then half about your life.

There was a long pause after Raiden had spoke these words, Rorak was stunned, and Raiden stood there looking with determination for victory. Rorak was thinking on this matter, he looked right into the blinding eyes of Raiden, and then finally came to a conclusion.

Rorak: "I will help destroy Shang Tsung, but I will not follow your orders. I will search out Shang Tsung by my own path."

Raiden: "As you wish, warrior. In anyway you help to bring down the Deadly Alliance, it will help to keep protection for Earhtrealm."

Rorak: "Earthrealm has no more meaning to me, I am not doing this for the protection of your mortals. I am doing this to avenge my family, as I kill Shang Tsung with my bare hands."

Raiden: "No matter how you look at it, you are helping me and the warriors fighting for Earthrealm. No matter what, you have my thanks."

Raiden disapeared in a flash, as lightning struck his very body. Rorak's eyes wen blind for a matter of time, then he could finally see as all the white slowly faded away. Rorak thought the situation over, and knew what he must do. In order to get to Shang Tsung, he would have to get to his companion, Quan Chi. And in order to get to Quan Chi, Rorak must first find his old companion Scorpion. Rorak then searched around Outworld. He was well aware that he escaped the Netherrealm by a portal to the Nexus. And as he saw that one portal led to Outworld, there would have to be an exit somewhere around. He searched more many minutes, until he stumbled upon a purple light. It was a portal, and it was the portal he was looking for. He hurried over to the portal, but was stopped by a man in uniform. This man, was known as Hotaru.

Hotaru: "Stop stranger! None may pass through this portal!

Rorak just stood and looked at Hotaru. After a while, he started to grin, and then after he laughed.
Rorak: "You think that you can stop me from getting through that portal?"

Rorak laughed more, and even harder this time. After a few moments of laughing, he stopped in a sudden instant.
Rorak: "I don't think that is too likely..."

Rorak then jumped in the air, doing a little twist, and landing behind Hotaru. Hotaru had no time to play, and quickly got out his spear out. He then striked at Rorak, pokeing the sharp end through the body of Rorak multiple times. Of corse Rorak would feel every ounce of pain that would come to him, as he was mortal, but he knew that he couldn't die. He took the pain, and watched as Hotaru tried to kill him, the immortal warrior. Hotaru was stunned, he suddenly figured out what was going on. He quickly de-impaled his spear from Rorak, and started to run away, as he knew he was immortal. Rorak wasn't through with Hotaru yet though, he reached and grabbed Hotaru just as he was about to flee, and flung him back, which led Hotaru to be on his knees.

Rorak then stared at the pitiful guardsmen, and laid his hands upon Hotaru's head.
Hotaru: "No, please! Have mercy on m-"

Hotaru then died by the hands of Rorak. Watching as his body laid down to the ground, Rorak then got his head, and cracked it back to place. He then looked behind him, and realized that he was to go through the portal, which he forgot all about. He then headed towards the portal, which led him to the Nexus. Rorak then saw Raiden in the nexus, which startled him. Raiden was talking to his former student: Shujinko. He couldn't quite understand all of what Raiden was saying, but he knew that it had to do something with the Deadly Alliance. Shujinko then went into a near by portal, and Raiden looked towards Rorak. With no words, Raiden disapeared in a flash of lightning, and was out of sight.

Rorak wasteing no time, headed over to the red portal, which he knew was the Netherrealm. He went inside, and in an instand, was in the firey depths of the underworld. He quickly continued his search for Scorpion, and headed on. Around him were demons and other specters in black, but on ahead, he noticed a woman that was in all white. Noticing that she was infront of some gate, he headed over towards her. Oddly, she noticed that she was training with Shujinko, and were both in a deep trance of training. Rorak, not caring at all, continued down the path as he walked out of the village, past the gate.

As the Netherrealm is a huge place, it took Rorak many hours to find Scorpion, but eventually, he indeed did find the powerful ninja. As he looked towards Scorpion, he saw a difference in clothing, he now held two swords, and his clothing was now more improved, and mroe protective. He then tapped on the sholder of Scorpion, who then turned around shocked at the presence of a long time companion.

Rorak: "Scorpion! I need you-"
Rorak found himself flying backwards. He looked forwards, and noticed that Scorpion had his fist closed, and was still in the air. Rorak was shocked, Scorpion has just struck Rorak, which didn't please Rorak at all. Rorak quickly got up, and threw his fist in the air, but stopped.

Rorak: "Why have you striked me?"

Scorpion: "You ask as if you don't know Decreot! You have abandoned me, for two long years I have been in these depths of the Netherrealm, searching for Quan Chi, without your help! You have sworn to me you would help find my rival, but then stead of betray me, and use me to find your to your village. This doesn't please me Decreot!"

Rorak: "My friend, this is the whole reason that I have came back! We shall search for Quan Chi, now!"

Scorpion: "Quan Chi is not in the midths of the Netherrealm Decreot, I have checked everywhere. And what makes me so certain, that you will live to your promise?"

Rorak: "I never broke our deal Hanzo! A slight distraction came up! That is all!"

Scorpion: "Very well, so you know of the where abouts of Quan Chi?"

Rorak: "Yes, he has escaped the Netherrealm nearly a year ago, and is now with the sorcerer known as Shang Tsung, they are located in Outworld."

Scorpion: "Where did you gather this information from Decreot?"

Rorak: "Raiden, the thunder god gave me all of the information I know. And plus, I have seen him myself in Shang Tsung's palace!"

Scorpion: "Very well! Then we must leave at once!"

Everything turned blury, and everything that Rorak once saw was now gone. All he could see was himself, and Scorpion. This has happened before, when Scorpion transfers himself from place to place, as Rorak noticed. Rorak looked around, but he didn't notice this place as Shang Tsung's palace.

Rorak: "Scorpion, where are we? This is not Shang Tsung palace!"

Scorpion: "But indeed Decreot, it is. I have chosen to enter his palace in a hidden passage, we are in the lower levels of where you remember the palace."

The two warriors walked on, and they soon came up to a cross section. There were two ways, one to the left, and one to the right.

Scorpion: "This is where we split up Decreot, if one of us is to find Quan Chi, then let us fight to the death!"

They both went their seperate ways, Scorpion turned left, as Rorak headed right. As Rorak headed further and further down the path, he could feel the vibrations of powerful attacks coming from above him. He could hear the sound of electricity being struck, the sound fire flowing through the air, and the sound of cheers and roars of a mummified army. Rorak came to the end of the hall, and saw Quan Chi, Raiden, and Shang Tsung. He looked around, and was in the same area as he was before last time he was there. He saw thousands of mummified warriors, all looking towards the amulet, which was on the thigh of Quan Chi. Rorak didn't want to bring attention to himself, he took off his mask, his costume, and all of the other props he wore. He was now shown as a skeleton figure, as he was resurrected into a mummified warrior. He hid with the crowd of warriors, and watched as the fight raged on.

After many moments of watching burtal hits and shots being thrown to the three fighters, Rorak came to grow impatient. He was about to step forward, when he saw Raiden being flung to the air, and hitting the ground in the hardest impact he has seen. He then noticed, that Raiden had been defeated. This was his perfect time to strike, he took one step forward, and then noticed that Shang Tsung and Quan Chi suddnely turned on each other. He then took his place back, and watched as the sorcerers raged on. The two sorcerers fought, and Quan Chi won. Noticing that Shang Tsung wasn't completely dead, and Quan Chi was injured, Rorak knew that this was the perfect time to avenge his family. He started to run towards the two sorcerers, when all of a sudden, he couldn't move. His body stopped, and he turned to the exit. He kneeled, without any control of his movements. As he was forced to watch the entering halls, he saw a sight he thought he would never see. He saw a tall, bulky figure walking down the halls. With huge impacts each time his foot touched the floor. It was Onaga, the Dragon King.

Rorak couldn't move, he was one of the mummified warriors, thus, he had no control over the power of Onaga. He stood put on the ground, watching as Quan Chi tried to stop Onaga from coming forth. Sooner, Shang Tsung and Raiden both stepped up, and the Dragon King was being pushed back. Finally, Raiden started to save up power, as Onaga got closer and closer to the three fighters, finally with all of the power gathered that he could, there was one huge blast.

Raiden, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi died. As for Rorak and the mummified warriors, their souls came free from their imprisoned body, which means that Rorak was no longer immortal. The affects of the blast killed Rorak. Onaga was the only living force left around, and he gained posesion of the amulet, giving him greater power than which he already has. And this is where Rorak's story ends, he is sent back to the Netherrealm, where he will rot for all eturnity.
