Mortal Kombat 1

I gained my reputation as the greatest spy in the realms. I served no one. It was one morning when I was called to Shao Khan's castle. The emperor wanted me to take disguise and place a hit on Shang Tsung. I traveled to the Lin Kuei temple and employed the talent of Sub Zero. Hopefully he would finish his job. The second part of my mission was to kill Shang Tsung if Sub Zero were to fail. I was curious as to why the emperor wished to kill his favored sorcerer.

Before I departed to the island I camouflaged myself to learn the meaning of Shao Khan's plot. He knew that Shang Tsung would cheat to win. He also knew if Shang Tsung lost he would also cheat. He hoped in the closing moments of the tournament that chaos would break out and Sub Zero would strike then. Shao Khan was loosing faith in Shang Tsung and wished his death after he won the tournament for Shao Khan.

The day I arrived at the island it seemed things were already falling apart. I took many steps to see that Sub Zero would not face Shang Tsung until the final moments. I would change the roster or kill certain combatants.

When Goro was defeated I knew it would happen. Shang Tsung gathered his warriors and the earthers and a huge battle erupted. I paid close attention to Sub Zero. Then the unthinkable happened. Scorpion decapitated Sub Zero. As I made my way towards the emperor a strange warrior ran into me. It was Baraka.

The blow knocked me out of my stealth and then the creature attacked me. I lashed out with two kicks hitting him both times in the side. As I prepared to kick him a third time he caught my foot. Using his brute strength he threw me up into the air with only one hand. I landed perfectly on my feet.

Then he unleashed his blades. Those things were long and very sharp. I had no weapon. But I did have the ability to perfectly copy the moves of fighters it studied. With a gesture a bolt of lighting descended on Baraka and flung him several feet back.

With him out of the way I returned my attention to Shang Tsung. A portal had opened and he and his warriors fled through it. I had failed.

I did not risk the fate that would be bestowed upon me by Shao Khan. Eventually I found a way back to Outworld and decided a new life style would better fir me. I would watch. I would wait till everything was right for me to take what I wanted. I will be the invisible sword. I will shape the events of the future to make sure my destiny will be fulfilled.
