Sorry about the double post ~Crow~, I pm'd you about deleting the other post. That pic of Baraka inspired me to do a painting of the version of Baraka i'd like to see. Any and all comments welcome. ~Crow~ Sorry about the double post, i pm'd you about deleting it.

It's very well done. It looks like Baraka from MKII.

Well done. The color strokes are great and it looks nice. The head seems too pointy but overall 4/5 stars.

Great job. It looks better than the MK6 Baraka render (conceptually at least). But I think it would have been better if you tried to clean up the color outside the head.

Excellent, that's a very interesting style. Big strokes, I'd almost say it's impressionism but it's too realistic for that. It also looks kind of digital. I like it, very unique.
What's the medium, it looks like watercolor? Especially around the gum line along the bottom.
Great work

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I wanted to stay close to the MKII design with Baraka while also makeing his features a bit less human and more demonic(the pointed skull was part of that). It's not a huge step away from the orignal, but I really think he'd look better this way then with that new design (and thx to you guys that agree :) )
As for the teeth, I think it's really a matter of personal preference, but i've never really liked any humanoid/mammal designs with ALL pointed teeth. Teeth like that really don't mesh together well when they close, and it just looks akward (what's that new MK6 Baraka gonna look like with a closed mouth?). Unless one set lies in front of the other, in which case you get an under/overbite.
RaMeir- Your early thought was right actually, it's digial. I did the whole pic in Painter 7.
Thanks again for all of the comments everyone, i'm working on the full body design, in a more realistic way. That means no spandex or futuristic-robot armor, i'm gonna go for stuff that a bit more traditional/realistically possible. After i'm finished with Baraka, i'm gonna work on the rest of the MK cast. I'm kinda doing it in my spare time, but whenever i can get stuff done, i'll post it for you guys.
Anywho, thanks again for all of the posts.

I thought so, the way the colors overlapped each other so smoothly it was either that or watercolor. I really need to get a copy of Painter it's just so expensive right now between it and PhotoShop.
The full body sounds exciting.
