So this is meant to be the movie moment that Goro fell off of the cliff.
Well, here:
- That cliff is extremely dark it's hardly visible, I had to invert the colours in paint to see it. Maybe my computer, but either way, it's dark.
- What is that weird blue line (that passes behind the cliff)? If it's meant to be a lightning bolt or something? If it is, it should be bright .
- You could have tried to edit Johnny to look like the movie. You could've tried Goro too, but that may be a bit tough, lol.
- The dragon in the moon is getting real old, lol.
- Background is too simple, there is also a mountain that the ridge is attatched too, but I don't see it here.
- It wasn't this dark in the movie. There was like an orange sky, and all that haze below the ridge, that Goro fell through (may have even been cloud they were so high up).
Doesn't remind me of the movie at a first glance. If the cliff were visible, maybe. Try to work a bit more on making it like the movie, the sky, the rigde with the mountain, and everything visible .

Now this is just terrible. Doesn't remind me of the movie at all. You could've at least tried to edit the sprites to make them look like the characters in the movie, or maybe you could've edited the backround to make it look like the movie's.
Terrible. Zero dragons.
Terrible. Zero dragons.

ok, in the movie they were realy in a cave, but he fell over the edge,
Hmm... well this really isn't so good, it needs a bit of work. It is a bit too dark, I mean its not like the movie at all really. The cliff is visible to me, but the sky is not as it should be. If you have a program that lets you do palette swaps, or lets you change the color tone, it would be wise to use it for help. Of course, you can create your own sky as well, and remember that google is your friend as well. It needs a red-tint though, the easiest way to obtain it is to use a program to switch the colors of an existing sky. For example, if you gave a red tint to the MKII Wastelands sky it would be fitting for this fake I believe. But the sky as is, its not great. And yes, the Dragon Moon is very old. As for the cliff, it could use some work too. As sandspider said, I believe they were in a cave, and Goro was knocked off the edge. This cliff is a bit to spread out for what you were intending. The image quality is also quite horrible as well, not your fault I know.
As mentioned, you could have tried some character edits to give them a movie look. It takes quite a bit of work, but it can be done. The positions the characters are in doesn't quite make sense either. Cage is in a fighting stance, and Goro is already falling, so I see no need for him to look ready to fight. Goro's legs are above the cliff edge, which is a mistake I believe. Goro was hanging on before he fell if I remember correctly, so it wouldn't exactly make too much sense for him to be in that position. Anyhow, you've done better before, I suggest you try some editing on these movie fakes though.

That is what you consider art? The stage doesn't even look like the movie, neither does Johnny Cage. The stupid dragon moon is fucking old dude. Haven't you noticed every newb around here uses that background? I hate it this fake, along with much of your other "art." It was a sloppy and simple job. The ONLY reason I won't give you a zero is because people are being pansies and I might get banned for it.

torchia Wrote: damnit! it wasnt this dark before! the one on the site is dark, but the one saved on my comp isnt! daaaamn!!! what a waste!! |
sometime's the JPG format messes up the pic.the best save's in my opinion are:
PNG
GIF
but you would have to get a image hosting site if your going to use the above save formats i suggest using freewebs, but the downfall of freewebs is the GIF format wont show but PNG and JPG will.
