I like this a lot better than your original, but at the bottom, I don't like how the rocks cover the spikes. yeah, it gives a 3D look, but... whatever.

hmm...I really like the rocks thing... I think it makes it look much better, but oh well.
Another thing, I was going to put a shadow on the bottom, like I did with Kano the other time, but it turned out crap aswell.

zentile I think doing things like this type of fake is your best. For example maybe you should do like your own title screen or alt enter ultimate kombat kodes... you know in game alt fakes.
