Who would win? Freddy(MK9) vs. Jason(Slasher)?

Jason would kick Freddy's ass, though id give Freddy an advantage if they were fighting in the dream world.
Now if you mean gameplay wise, I have no idea lol I want to say Jason still though, he can do heavy damage rather easily in Slasher lol

Jason, because he's Jason lol Anyway the game versions don't really have any quantifiable feats or showings so there is really know way to tell, imo. Gameplay wise I could see Freddy taking it , he could play keepaway and zone Slasher Jason out with his different ranged attacks and just teleport away if Slasher Jason manages to close the distance. Though if Slasher activates his armor and closes the distance he could wreck shit with his heavy damage output. You will have to ask a gameplay expert about that part though lol

Freddy would zone Jason the fuck out. Jason's only hope would be to hit the special that gives him armor, even then, Freddy could just use some teleport shenanigans until the cool down hits. Then its night, night.

Jason.
The MK9 Freddy is the cheap failed knockoff. Not the REAL iconic one.

"Jason was the winner in Freddy vs Jason".
Must have watched a different movie than everyone else, didn't seem so cut and dry to me. Anyways, MK9 Freddy would probably win. Jason is fun to use though.

Jason did win ;)
Freddy had a clear advantage in the dream world, and put up a good fight in the real world, but that final scene is why I say Jason wins, otherwise I would have said draw.
The final scene shows Jason walking out of the water holding Freddy's decapitated (still alive) head. Freddy cant do shit in the real world as just a severed head, while Jason was all good. So to me, Jason is the winner via incapacitation

And that's the point, it's all open to interpretation. It was all a drea, er, nightmare.

Yup plus he won from a little help from those poor teenage kids Freddy was trying to kill in their dreams lol. I think that girl decapitated him? Its been a while since I seen the movie

Yeah it was pretty much a draw at the end, but then Freddy comes out of the water to kill Lori and then Jason comes out of nowhere and stabs Freddy through the chest with his own severed arm, and falls back into the lake, then Lori cuts Freddy's head off lol
My interpretation may be a little biased (even though I love the Nightmare series) but im pretty sure the writers buffed the shit out of Freddy in the real world to be able to fight Jason lol

Are you talking about Freddy being the reboot Freddy?
You know that this Jason is the reboot Jason as well...

Or...? did you mean his gameplay mechanics. Which is a mixture of Kabal moves. And had the extra glove. Then i would have to agree...

This Jason is pretty much a compilation of all Jasons, from what I have read. I have not read anywhere that it was strictly reboot Jason. Actually, I have read mostly that it's FvJ version. Every Jason looks diffrent anyway. There isn't a "true" Jason as pretty much every movie has a slight change. I feel MKX Jason is just that. MKX has it's own version. 2009 Jason also had hair, MKX does not.
However, with Jason he always looks the same...reboot or not. MKX Jason looks more or less like any Jason we have ever seen. I at least cannot tell a difference. Freddy on the other hand was clearly NOT Freddy.
I'm still pissed about MK9, because I would have had a ton of fun playing as the iconic Freddy. Even though I had the season pass I still did not download him because it pissed me off so much that we were stuck with this crap new-age version. Too many failed remakes that get crushed by the originals. Only a select few have ever lived up to the originalbe it a remake, prequel or re-imagining(Halloween) or even were better(Dawn of the Dead).

Yeah he is definitely a composite version of Jason, pretty much all versions of him rolled into one, except for Uber of course.
It cant be just reboot because he hasn't been killed and resurrected by lightning yet, so his unstoppable variation wouldn't make a lot of sense if it was strictly reboot Jason.
It cant be strictly post Part 6 either, because he clearly isn't rotting/decomposing in any of his variations, which he clearly is once he is brought back by lighting.
A case could be made for it being Part 3 Jason though, but I think its more likely that MKX Jason is just a composite version of the character.
MK9 Freddy seemed like a composite version as well, his face was clearly modeled after remake Freddy, but there were lots of references to the older Freddy IIRC

Jason all the way. In any variation. I was trying to test out a brutality on him during a tower, turned the tables on me and finished me off.

Interesting comment from Boon about MK9 Freddy I had not seen until now. Explains his MK9 design somewhat:
PSB: Did you base Freddy off the 80s films or the reboot movie from a few years back?
EB: Well...that’s a good question. We didn’t try to make him look like the actor Robert Englund, I don’t even know if we would be allowed to....Admittedly, I didn’t see the latest movie, the remake. But obviously the first few movies were huge — they left an undeniable mark on pop culture. When I look at him, I think of the original Freddy: he’s got the striped sweater and is instantly recognizable. He’s Freddy in general, we don’t really identify him as one version or another.
