I dont play the game, but I watch tourney streams and I find Kitana more fun to watch due to a greater variety in combos and the fact that she doesn't have cheap OH/low 50/50 to easily open up opponents makes her rely a lot on spacing and footsies which, for me, is the most exciting gamestyle. Mileena is better tier-wise though.
Have you seen Foxy use Mileena?
Yes, I've seen him play, he's impressive. I also cheer for him most of the times as he's Europe's best player (I'm from Europe too) and the only non-North America player placing high at the moment. Though I always cheer for Kitana players no matter which country they're from (KitanaPrime and Atai are amazing to watch). When it comes to F0xy vs Sonic, I used to cheer for Sonic when he used the Kitana/Erron combo, but now that he's mostly using Alien, I'm cheering for F0xy in their matches (can't stand guest characters). :p
There's an Alien invasion at tournaments these days and it's killing my hype...

I enjoy watching a really skilled Kitana player pull off combos in MKX. Some of the most graceful movements I've seen in a fighting game.
Mileena is one of those characters that seem to be in control no matter where she is on the screen. Competent zoning, savage neutral, teleport kick/sai throw combo that owns the skies. After she got safer following the last patch, she just kind of came together into the commanding character of Derek Kirtzic's wet dreams.

Round 3! The echo of lost souls fighting from beyond! Cyrax was a skilled warrior before the Lin Kuei rewrote his identity. Encased in cold steel, he became a cyber automaton programmed to undertake clan protocol. Free of his programming, he chose to self-destruct and destroy the old Lin Kuei. Noob Saibot was an ice cold killer before his nemesis Scorpion ended his life. His flesh blackened, he was reborn in the Netherrealm as the Brotherhood of the Shadow's wraith. Aiding Outworld in their Earthrealm invasion, his revenant body was lost to the purity of a soulnado. Gone but not forgotten. Who's next?... FIGHT!
Sub-Zero wasn't at his best in MKX, but Havik is really lame. No vote for you!
Huh. I thought Sub-Zero was portrayed better in MKX than MK 2011, gameplay-wise at least. He was slow and with a caveman-looking stance.
But I miss his MK 2011 voice. Steve Blum is fine, though.
He plays really good in MKX and I love throwing ice clones around. I don't like the Billy Mays hair and beard or the Steve Blum voice though. I thought he was really weak in the story too not doing much after magically not being a cyborg any more.
This is a tough match. Cyrax had a cool moment in the comic but he died and got replaced by Triborg. Noob Saibot is not even around. This might be one case where I think the mystery and potential of not being around beats a tiny MKX appearance. I cannot decide!
But again, as is the case with most rounds, Cyrax is awesome too.
Fuck. this tournament is turning out to be the same thing because Mick decided to put the top 8 voted in all different rows.
I vote Noob.
Its not that bad. I think these last couple of matches are the only really dead ones since the characters have almost nothing to do with MKXL. There are a lot of good choices still going though. Mileena, Kenshi, Jax, Johnny and Raiden would all be really good MKX finalists and haven't won it before.
go noob yay
Noob has consistently been one of my favorite characters, and his MK9 appearance, coupled with one of the most brutal fatalities ever, make him the hands down favorite for this. The fact that he was left out of MKX when this should've been a game where he was a major contender was one of the worst roster omissions in this game. Completely unforgivable. We had 3 dead characters and a day-1-DLC character occupying roster slots rather than a character like Noob who SHOULD have beenon the roster...it's the frickin' Netherrealm invasion. Where the hell is he? I'm voting Noob.
I love Cyrax so it was a tough call, especially since he was more fleshed out, and there's tremendous bonus points for his human appearance in MK9, but my favorite is Noob.
Noob...well, he'll win because ninja. Yawn. Without the SZ1 backstory he's as useless as Jade.
Cyrax. I dug his pre-automation MK9 appearance.

Oh look. Swingbatta is complaining about ninjas again. Yawn.
:)
STATE FED LIES CHARM EMPTY EYES. Anon.
Noob Saibot. Best ninja.
And who gets to decide which characters are included? Dark Kahn but no Shao Kahn? That's dumb.
Mick-Lucifer does everything! He encourages feedback so just shoot him a message with your concerns

Kano's MK9 appearance looked more like Billy Mays.
Noob Saibot wins!

U guys are so predictable. Just look at previous tournaments. The semifinals are always with the same chars. This time won't be different. Ermac,Smoke,Raiden,Noob or Sub see you in the finals. My guess is that Noob is going to win!
Past semi finals have involved: Ermac, Fujin, Kenshi, Mileena, Noob Saibot, Scorpion, Shang Tsung and Sub-Zero in a variety of combinations. I'm not sure complaining about FIVE characters for TWO matches is a very compelling call. It's even worse when you factor in what's actually happened. You hedged your bets and still came up short! And it's only Round 3!
You should come up with some interesting arguments for who should be winning.

Round 3! Ermac is the Gestalt - a legion of damned souls burning in conflagration by the magic of Shao Kahn! In the Emperor's absence Ermac did not achieve independence, instead becoming an enforcer for another who would claim the Outworld throne. Sareena is a demon of the Netherrealm in human form. Clinging to a facade of beautiful flesh she is bound to the Necromancer Quan Chi who maintains it. When he leads a charge against Earthrealm, she instead chooses independence, helping the mortals fight back Shinnok. Who's next?... FIGHT!
