Since MK:Deception isn't coming out for Gamecube, I was wondering when X-Box 2 comes out?

I wouldnt hold my breath for x2.

Romours have the PS3 (?) for a release around christmas 2005 (usually sometime in sept., with that I dont expect to see a new xbox or nintendo system untill 2006 . Asking questions like this will only get you romours and opinions. Dont hold anything anyone posts here as the truth.

The PS3 is going to be using "Cell Technology" that was developed by IBM (sony, ibm and another company have teamed together to make the ps3).

So we'll have to wait and see who has the best console. Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

I don't know what is it about the playstation systems, but I'm not interested in them. I was a nintendo loyalist for the longest time, but when I realized alot of the mature games I liked to play that were on the PC were also available for the X-Box and I've heard that X-Box is a more powerful system although it doesn't get as much attention as the gamecube and playstation 2 does. Two games that originally came out for the regular NES system(Ninja Gaiden and Rygar) are now only available for X-Box

...but Ninja Gaiden's a better game.

Anyhow, I don't think Microsoft has made any official comments as to when their next console will come out, only that they wanna beat out Sony by just a little bit.

As for Sony using Cell technology, is that actually official? I know people have thought Sony would use Cell technology in the next PS, but have they actually stated that they will use it? I thought Cell technology was still under development or extremely expensive, one or the other...

The next Gamecube will also carry CELL technology and and IBM processor along with an ATi graphics engine that the next Microsoft product has decided to use...

Actually, having no harddrive in xbox2 isn't that bad becuase Xbox2 will be using flash memory technology which is more stable, smaller than regular hardrives.

It'll essentially serve the same purpose as the hard drvie, which is the important part...

How do those two tie together? There's no way Xbox 2 will be backwards compatible for technical reasons (the switch from x86 and nVidia to PowerPC and ATI, from using harddrive swap memory to flash memory, legal issues concerning copyrighted nVidia libraries, etc.), so if anything, you should either get a PS2 or an Xbox for MK: Deception.

hey, what's up izz_daman? I will also be picking up ps3 for sure. I do like ps2 but I am not much into rpg games, but I do like the fighting and action/adventure games on ps2 though. I like all the systems as long as they have good quality games. And I also I hope that online service for the ps3 will be better than the current version becuase that is a big plus for me.
