I think Soul Calibur3 is alot better because, the gameplay is alot smoother and less stif then MKA is.The controls in Soul Calibur are way more responsive. The over all game is just alot funner to play.wink

A, because sc3 is just basically a expansion pack of sc2.

MKA has more features, whereas SCIII has less, but they are better. Quality > Quantity IMO, so SCIII is better

Even an expansion pack is better than MKA.SC is more fluid,deeper,con-trols perfectly and isn't as clumsy and sloppy as MKA.

Soul Calibur 3 is a disgrace to the Soul Edge/Blade/Calibur series. Armageddon is pretty much nothing more than a shameless attempt to squeeze more life and money out of the DA/Deception fighting system.

I'd say they are about even except SC3's fighting system (despite being broken badly and the fact it shouldn't even be called Soul Calibur) is still more fluid than Armageddon ever hoped to be.

SC3 is better but only marginally. Overall they're both pretty bad.

A is also basically a expansion pack of D, so i guess they're about the same imo.

I think you have to honestly play MK:A at high level seriously online to truly appreciate it and you'll see it's a good game.I recommend everyone takes more time with it.Then you would honestly see the key differences in MK:A compared to MK:D, MK:A is much, much better.

MK:D was soo sloppy with infinites it's endless almost, MK:A fixed a lot of shit seriously.

And a lot of the stuff in MK:A you can escape with the wake up or parries when used properly.

As for the two games, MK:A is much better then SC.One, SC 3 isn't much different then SC2, the KAK in MK:A owns SC3's it's not even funny.

Online play in MK:A makes MK much more enjoyable compared to SC3 which isn't meaning LACK of competition which sucks.

SC3 is a button masher compared to MK:A overall.
Storyline in MK is much better then SC's, despite if some are canon and others aren't.I really don't care, the overall storyline is better in MK compared to most fighters.

MK:A is not sloppy or slow, in fact it's faster then MK:D and MK:DA, the jumping gives you oldschool crossover tactics to use again which you couldn't use in MK:DA and MK:D since the jumping sucked in those.

You don't feel like your character is walking through mud in MK:A like you did with the previous MK's.

More characters in MK:A to SC3.

Better stages in MK:A.

Better mini games/alternate modes in MK:A such as Konquest, Motor Kombat and KAK.

Overall MK:A is better then SC3 because the replay value is higher, SC3 got old shortly after it's release.Where MK:A is still selling as we speak. It's sold out at all the stores near me for PS2 and for Xbox it's for some reasons tough to find in certain stores.

MK:A is better then SC3 if you ask me personally for the above reasons.

Sounds like you're begging people to fall in love with this game. BTW, I can't believe you put down an MK game, must be because a new one is out so now you finally agree with what everyone was telling you that was wrong with the previous one.smile

MK:A is better then SC3 if you ask me because I'm a fanboy (refer to SIG for proof.)" tongue

SC3 is WAAAY more fun to play with friends

even though MK's gotta much better story it ruined what it really had going for it because armageddon is completely void of story in pretty much every capacity

i'd have to say SC3 is the better game

it really saddens me to say that but what can you do

They're both good for completely different reasons:

SC3 obvisously has the deeper fightning engine of the 2. However this increased depth add a steeper learning curve. I know 3 other people where I live that know who to properly play it. The rest just pick a character like Kilik and pray they can button mash their way to victory.

MK:A is a better social game, since almost anyone can pick it up and instantly have some idea what they're doing. They just look up a character's specials and a combo or 2 and are ready. Learning a character in SC can be a part-time job. It definately has its rewards, but can't be done when you rarely get to play and there's always other players in line when do get your chance.

One is a game for skill. The others a game for the masses. Their companies designed them to be this way.
