Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest video games in video game history. I still believe that if they should make a Legend of Zelda movie, it should be based on that story. It was amazing and so complete. I liked the sages a lot since there is one for every element, and each of them belongs to a different race.
In this thread, I want to know which sages do you guys prefer. I put an image of every sage and I'd like you to put them in order of which one you prefer to the one you like the least. Here's the list of the sages with their element;
Rauru, the Sage of Light
Saria, the Sage of Forest
Darunia, the Sage of Fire
Ruto, the Sage of Water
Impa, the Sage of Shadow
Nabooru, the Sage of Spirit
Zelda, the Sage of Time
My List
1 ~ Zelda: She's the most powerful and beautiful sage. I also like Sheik a lot. I like how she looked in Melee and she looks even cooler in Brawl! I also like the fact that she has powers, and is not just a damsel in distress. 2 ~ Nabooru: She is probably the best physical fighter out there, being the leader of the Gerudos. I'd like to see her in Brawl as an assist trophy, with her polearm and spirit powers.
3 ~ Ruto: Even though she doesn't have good-looking facial features, her body is smokin'! And I always liked water-related powers. She's the best-looking fish I've ever seen.
4 ~ Impa: Sheikahs rule and Impa's outfit is very nice. Shadow powers are always tricky and powerful. I'd like to see her as an assist trophy too.
5 ~ Saria: I'm not that into Kokiris, but Saria is easily the most interesting of them. I also think forest-related powers rule! Think of grass-types from Pokémon.
6 ~ Darunia: I like how a Goron is the Sage of Fire. Instead of just being a creature of flames, it's a giant, rock-hard creature of the mountains. He would pack quite a punch in Brawl too, if he ever makes it.
7 ~ Rauru: Well he doesn't do much in the story, it would have been great if he was in fact Kapoera Gaebora, but he's not that bad anyway. Just a bit plain.

I never played it, but judging by the reactions and opinions based on my friends and cousins, it must e a good game. My cousin bought this "Bible" to go with the game, and it was so thick, it looks really interesting.
The last Zelda game I played was Legend of ZeldA: A Link to the Past. Back on the snes, when they all looked like mice.
I wish they'd release a Zelda game on the 360 so I can play it again.

The legend of zelda would never be released on xb360 or ps3, and you should know the reason why.

It's funy...I wish I really understood the hysteria behind LOZ: Ocarina of time. It is rated the number 1 game of all time. I wish I enjoyed it as much as everyone does

3.Nabooru: Spirit Temple was awesome, and i loved how she was a thief. Great look as well.
4.Darunia: I like the brotherly love personality of Darunia, and i like how he packs a punch.
5.Raru: Not very important, but not annyoing either.
6.Sariah: Annoying, but gives a AMAZINGLY CATCHY tune.
7.Ruto: Hate Ruto, so fricking annoying! I hate her I love link personality, gets annoying quick.

OoT was great, but it is overrated. It's a wonderful game, but the greatest game of all time? Clearly Melee owns that title

1: Zelda- 5/5 obviously, she looks cool, and I've spent seven years trying to save her from Ganon, plus her powers are really cool, her whole magic style is sexy as fuck, nothing else to say.
The rest are really based on looks
2. Nabooru- her face looks a little weird, but her outfit is sweet, I like the genie look and the high ponytail.
3. Ruto- Her face looks really pretty, her fins also look great, her skin matches her style, looks nice.
4. Saria- I guess it's the whole forest thing I like, it's a great style, she looks a little cartoony tho
5.Dariuna- Odd body (muscular extremities, fat belly) but interesesting to say the least
6/7. I'm not feeling Impa and Rauru, not really interesting looking characters.

I loved this game...it's my favorite of all time.
Sariah is my favorite sage.Did any of you ever think that Sariah ever had crush on Link?
I always kind of figured that.

Add me to the list. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my favorite game ever. It was the perfect blend of gameplay, story, graphics, exploration, user-friendliness, puzzles, music and art design. I could write a 20 pages rant over the game, but I'll spare you guys that. Anyway, on to the sages!
1. Darunia - This guy is awesome. From his quirky-as-hell samba dance to Saria's Song to his overly-enthusiastic way of showing appreciation, to naming his son after you and calling you "brother", he was utterly memorable and likable.
2. Saria - I heard someone once say this game was "light" on emotional content. That was garbage. The game was FULL of it, in many subtle ways. When Link said "goodbye" to her on the bridge, to the silence of returning and finding her gone, to her bittersweet farewell to him as she assumed her role as the Sage of Forest, she struck a chord. She was also the part of Link that was his "child" self, and when she left, she took that "childhood" with her. She was his best friend, arguably his only real friend, and he lost her.
3. Ruto - Another strangly sad sage story. While she irritated fans to no end in the Jabu-Jabu's Belly dungeon, as a character she was still great. Haughty, fiery-tempered, and spoiled, she was the immediate contrast to calm, collected, and down-to-earth Zelda. But I always liked a little haughtiness in my princesses, and while the fish thing never really did anything for me, she did grow up. Her insane crush on Link was surprisingly touching, as was her bittersweet realization that they could never be.
4. Nabooru - She's a complicated one. She didn't have the luxury of meeting Link early in the game and was introduced towards the very end, and yet she, as a character, underwent a lot. For one, she displayed great bravery and character by rebelling against her king, only to get brainwashed into his protector, slave, and consort for seven years. But, it's her final line that has true Zelda fans still debating. "If I had known you'd grow up to be such a handsome man, I would have kept my promise...."
5. Impa - She was an interesting character, and her absence in the newer games is unfortunate (there's been an Impa in SEVERAL games...). But the OoT version was really unique, being arguably the last of her kind, as well as the founder of Kakariko Village, as well as arguably the only one who never really lost her composure. The manga version actually even explains her origins better (and even explains how Link gets his earrings a Sheikah rite of passage.)
6. Rauru - This guy never really did it for me. He just... didn't DO much, as opposed to all the other sages. He, unlike the rest, had pretty much no backstory, but did the Obi-Wan Kenobi thing well enough. Some people argue that he's Kaeporea Gaeborea, since they both of Owlish features, or that one is the reincarnation of another, but the evidence is weak at best, but would be helpful. Either way, he's probably my least favorite sage, mainly due to his rather passive position in the story, as opposed to ALL the other sages.
7. Zelda - Zelda, Zelda, Zelda. She's Zelda. What more does she need? She's a great character, and there's certainly a TON more sparks between her and Link in this game than the rather cold Twilight Princess version. She's cute a button as a kid, and strikingly beautiful as an adult, and while the Zelda shippers will forever argue whether Link ended up with her or Malon (or whoever), she stood her own. Her tomboyish Sheik persona was an actually mind-blowing twist back in the day (provided you avoided spoilers), and she certainly had MUCH more backstory than most other Zeldas in the franchise (Twilight Princess included, Wind Waker being an exception). One of the best Zelda incarnations.
The sages were all unique, all awesome, and their cameos in Wind Waker (kinda) made that game for me.

Garlador said everything I needed to say. I feel similarly about all of them, except I'd probably rank Saria as my favorite. She has probably produced the most touching moments in my gaming career, which is nearly every scene in the game she is in. So bittersweet.
Except for Zelda and Darunia, which are 2 and 3 respectively, I don't care too much for the others.
