what cd is "get stupified" on? just curious. my fav modern rock would have to be disturbed; DWTS, korn; 'yall want a single, and rob zombie; any o his stuff is good.

What defines "modern rock" exactly. Half of this stuff I wouldn't call rock. But again, that's my opinion of what rock is. And modern rock? That sounds like a new genre in itself.

im talking about active recent rock bands. And to u LOTNR, im not sure what cd it's on, BUT i KNOW it exists...look it up on Imesh.com...it's there.

I can't say I like Linkin Park, but In Flames is cool. However, everytime Godsmack puts out a new album, that album always seems to put the previous one to shame. When I bought my copy of Faceless the day it was released, "Re-Align" took over as my favorite Godsmack song ever ("Spiral" was my favorite song before that). And even then, I never expected to hear "Re-Align" on the radio.

I just Googled that Godsmack song and the only places it comes up is on forums and Winamp-generated playlists. No lyric sheets, no track lists, nothing concrete. Know that just because I-Mesh says it's performed by Godsmack doesn't it's actually performed by Godsmack. I guess that says something about the current state of pop rock though, or possibly it's audience, people not being able to tell the difference between one band and the next.
Anyway, since modern rock, by and large, blows, there's only a couple of current rock bands that I enjoy: Shadows Fall, The Haunted, In Flames, Chimaira (kinda), and uh...some other stuff I can't remember.

This thread died and came back to life ^_^.
But anyways, yah i HATE i-mesh right now! They told me the song "stupify" was sung by Godsmack...and disturbed really sings it..I felt like such an idiot.
