Is Ninja Gaiden for X-box any good? i have heard good reviews, but i dont trust alot of websites. i want the opinion from gamers such as yourselves. anyway, tell me, what is the combo system like? is the game really that hard? are there alot of unlockables and weapons? can i really run over a horse with a tank? any other game play elements that are awsome tell me about. thnx

Yes, the game is that hard. I got it tuesday. The combo system is simple at first, but then you gain more knowledge as you go on and it unlocks new moves in different scenarios. I'll give an example. You'll find a scroll and u read it and now when you fight and jump towards someone and press 'Y', (in mid air) you grab their neck flip over them and throw them (its pretty funny). Its a must buy. But I do warn you that it is difficult and you WILL ( I can bet my balls...) that you will be doing alot of parts over because of deaths. I will tell you that the walls and running, and block (i know thats alot but eh) are YOUR FRIEND. Blocking especially.

haha i was playing ninja gaiden just 5 minutes ago and i'd have all sorts of information for you...but you're a total tool and hyuga made me laugh so i forgot what i was going to say.

I got it today and yes the game rocks , I love the way you have to be skilled with wall running and wall jumping to find secret areas

it is a really tough game though and right now im stuck on one boss on chapter 4

cut scenes are amazing and look great , im gonna play it some more tonight i cant put it down

i've been playing it all night and i'm stuck in the city of tairon not stuck exactly...just get killed because the game is so damn hard.

i tried to do the online master ninja tournament but aparently that wont be available untill E3 in may.

and so far there seems to be a fine line between combo's and button mashing...especially after finding the nunchukas on the dead ninja...most combos seem to be XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

That is a tough part. I've made it a little farth down the tunnel and am stuck in the room zombie corpes w/weapons. You get the vigor fliars just before the room too. Those are the nunchucks with blades (think of Nitara's weapon but connected for nunchucks).

"shut the hell up, please" sounds pretty serious to me. if you were kidding i would expect something like "HEY................SHUT UP". i just wanted to know about the game from people who are not hyped for it. gamefaqs kids just give games there hyped for 10s, so id figure id get a review from somebody who REALLY thinks its either good or bad. but apparently its good. would stores be sold out already?

Yeah... don't EVER trust any gamefaqers. Your best bet is to rent it and find out how you like it for yourself.

hey any of you guys notice the arcade machine in the club?and if so were you able to access the old ninja gaiden games on it?

Yeah i did but could play it. From what I've been reading on other forums you have to collect all the gold scabs in the game to unlock all 3 original games.

Ninja Gaiden is a very good game. Im on chapter 10 and Ive enjoyed it. Hyuga, nobody likes a smartass.

The game is a blast and even though I basically wailed on the first boss and healed myself alot I never really got the pattern down (nunchucks guy).

first boss? easy...block,counter combo,block,counter combo etc. etc.

especially when he does his power attack he's very open to counter if you block.

stay clear of his devistating throws and you should have no problem defeating him without having to heal once.

i'm just starting the city of fiends part and i have found 5 golden scarabs,anyone else found more by this part?

I've only played the demo i'll admit.. i am wating for my full copy in the mail, should be here next week...

But the demo of the Ninja village or whatever it was... oh MAN this game rules! I think that Tecmo has proven that Patience really is a virtue, and very good things come to those who wait (oly what, 2 and 1/2 yrs?) because this game has all the good stuff that you could ever imagine for a game that plays like it's old 2D predecessor ( in terms of skill, AKA : hard as hell!!) and then crossing it over in to the 3D world and including the type of fighting abilities and such with some 3D fighting games. It's been a while since i've ever said "damn! that just looks like that hurt!" after performing an attack combo, and this game is gonna be HUGE.

I'm very happy to say that Ryu Hayabusa is back.. He's the only Ninja i've liked more than Scorpion, lol. :D
