Scorpions weapon

Ok in MKD and MKDA scorpion uses his swords as his weapon fighting. I love his sword but i dont think that they could BEST suit him.
I personally think it would be soo hott if scorpion would utilize a Poi style like the rope and dart or the 9 sequence chain whip. For anyone who doesnt know what this is...Its a fighting style like gogo used in Kill Bill 1 with the chain and ball only rope and dart poi is using a rope with a weighted sharp or blunt dart/spear on the end. Also Jackie Chan used it in Romeo Must Die whe he did it with the fire hose.
I seriously think this could be a very cool fighting style for scorpion. what are everyones opinions?

well i dont know if a ninja would use something as flashy as go gos weapon in kill bill but then now that i think about it more it seems like that weapon would suite lei mai insted

I don't think a ninja would use hapkido either.

lie mei really?? i just thought that is suited scorpion great because of the way he moves in his practice cinema and the fact that he has a rope and dart/spear which is his harpoon spear. i cant see lei mei with a rope and dart.

I agree. I've thought Scorpion using the harpoon as his weapon stance was an awsome idea since weapons were introduced in MK4. Even if he only used it like a small but very strong short range weapon. Imagine the combo potential with harpooning your opponent, dragging them in and going right into some violent weapon/harpoon combo...harsh. Too bad Midway would NEVER do anything that cool. I'm suprised Scorpion doesn't have a chainsaw for his weapon-OOPS...don't want to give Midway any ideas...

i agree. i think it would be hot to add scorpions spear in a combo like in an air juggle when they are knocked in the air he harpoons them and pulls them back down to him and finishes the combo....sorta like what spiderman did in Spiderman1 when he punched the green goblin and when the goblin flew back he webbed him and pulled him back and hit him again. i can see scorpion doin somethin like that...especially in a Poi style

IF Scorpion is a ninja, then he should have a Ninjutsu as his fighting style.
Maybe Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu and balanced it out with his Mugai Ryu Kenjutsu.
Mugai Ryu is good for Scorpion's Story. Champion of the Elder God he is.
Mugai Ryu is an honorable but effective Sword style for the Samurai.
Having A Samurai and Ninja martial arts for a Champion is good.

I love Kill Bill, I LOVE Gogo, and I LOVE her weapon. I hope they use it for a female (evil Sonya in next Mk?).
As for Scorpion, his sword was too boring in MKDA, but it was much better in MKD, but I think his spear would be the best weapon for him. I hope he manages to use that rope in kombat somehow, because too many swords isnt a very good idea.

Mugai ryu is actually a way to daw the sword fast...so much for a style, but nothing that bad actually.
Give him a kusari-gama, or a throwing weapon, since Shirai-ryu is focused on throwing weapons-or so it is said in Scorpions case. And remember Scorpion/Hasashi lived in the 90's so he could learn any style across the face of earth.
