Red Dragon. Remeber it is a worldwide syndicate, while Kano had only a rag-tag band of cutthtroats and madmen around him. PLus, Mavado is way overskilled compared to Kano (perhaps Kabal)

Mavado is a sissy who can't even shoot projectiles. He snuck up on Kabal and took his hookswords. I am glad Kabal killed Mavado and took them back. With that being said, I am for the Black Dragon.

Although I really like both criminal clans, my vote goes to the Red Dragon, even though we've only seen two of it's members. They wiped out a lot of the old Black Dragon, and I don't think Mavado just sneaked up on Kabal while he was helpless. This is the same guy who most likely killed Kano (definetly beat him), and beat Kenshi to within an inch of his life, in proper fights. Plus he had Mr YMCA (Hsu Hao) cripple the Special Forces by nuking their equipment.

Plus the new Black Dragon doesn't seem to be doing much to live up to the old clans criminal empire. Just randomly attacking people on Havik's orders to cause chaos. I think Kira has far more potential than Kabal to lead the new Black Dragon (she seems to have the right mix of cunning and brutality that he lacks). And Kobra will probably go the same way as Jarek and Hsu Hao, nowhere.

I believe the Red Dragon out numbers the Black dragon by a wide margin.Even with kano they only have 4 members. While Kabal and kano the members with the most experience would last the longest, The newbies Kira and Kobra might have some problems.

Mavado would not sneak upon Kabal, check his bio and the description.
Unlike his counterpart, Kano, Mavado is more dignified and has honor.

Furthermore, when Sonya gone through the portal under Shang Tsungs lost and derelict island, they had to fight the image of their worst enemy. Sonya fought Mavado, not Kano.

I think the Red Dragon would win. Even tho we have seen less of the acutal member of Red Dragon, I think they are larger and more ruthless than the Black Dragon. i didnt like Mavado, but like Hsu Hao, and I think the Red Dragon seem generally more intelligent as a clan the Black Dragon.

From the fluff, I would have to say Red Dragon, although if Mavado is indeed dead, the clan is probably in disaray right now.
Nowhere near the disaray the Black Dragon is in now though! It's going through a total revamping.
But yeah, Red is more worldwide, where Black is a bit of a hole in the wall. Maybe under new leadership, things will change..for both clans.

Design wise, Black Dragon all the way. I hated both Red Dragon characters..especially YMCA..er..I mean Hsu Hao.

Red Dragon is more disciplined than the Black Dragon... but since BD4L, Black Dragon!

And, Hsu Hou isn't much of a "criminal" if a solider (Jax) can just come up and rip his mechenical part of him out. What a fighter. Kabal is tricky and Kira, well cheats
Kano, not one of my favorites, but a good fighter. Jarek, very good character. And good fighter. Black Dragon would win any day

The Black Dragon was once part of the Red Dragon, this is why the Red Dragon hates that clan so much. I don't know the people responsible but the leader of the Black Dragon clan was not satisfied to the Red Dragon with its codes and disciplines so he broke off and his followers joined him. The Red Dragon had been secretly fighting against the Black Dragon who were a band of thugs and extortionists and focused on smuggling and making profits for their own by taking on clients and such. Kano managed to work his way up the ranks of the Black Dragon untill he claimed control over the clan. If they were to make a Mythologies game I would want one of Kano so they could shed light on this. That was the old Black Dragon before they were also disbanded and then reborn thanks to Havik's efforts.

The Red Dragon is a highly disciplined clan of assasins who work in similar ways to the old Lin Kuei, who were once allies to the Red Dragon untill they disbanded and now are enemies due to Sub-Zero's reformation of the clan. Mavado is not the leader of the Red Dragon but he is a very promised and formidable member, we still need to see more of the Red Dragon however.

Mavado is/was the leader of the Red Dragon, his MKDA bios tell us this. Since it's likely that he's dead (for now at least, we all know what "death" means in MK), we might see a new leader of the clan. Darrius was originally designed to be the Red Dragon's new leader, before he became the revolutionary in MKD.

Even if Mavado is indeed dead, the Red Dragon far outnumber the new Black Dragon, and have themselves a very powerful ally, Quan Chi. I think we will be seeing more of both Mavado and Quan Chi in future MK games. Hopefully this time Mavado will bring some better henchpeople than Mr YMCA with him.

Oh, and the guy who wanted to know why we call Hsu Hao "Mr YMCA". Look at the hat on his 1st outfit. It's supposed to be a military officers cap, but looks like a gay biker hat worn by one of the Village People. First MK3 gives us Nightwolf the spandex Indian, and now this guy.

I'm going with the black dragon here. I hated Hsu Hao so much. I have a friend named Hsu Hao and I don't think she would like a connection to this guy.

Red Dragon would win all the way! Mavado could Kick Kabal's ass! Im hoping that Hsu Hao and Mavado will be back in Mortal Kombat 7. (Plus it would be totally gnarly if MK7 did a huge thing with RED DRAGON VS. BLACK DRAGON!

The Red Dragon have far more members, we just haven't seen them yet. Turns out they are the main criminal clan, and the Black Dragon are a breakaway group.

The Red destroyed the Black once, when Mavado killed Kano (nothing to say this didn't happen). Kabal has rebuilt the clan, with three members so far, two if (as is most likely) Kira's ending happens. Even if Mavado himself is dead (I fully expect both him and Kano back in the future. They're both pretty important, and we all know what "death" means in MK right?) the Red Dragon could easily hunt down the remaining Black Dragon members, and the clan would be extinct once more.

And Ken, sorry, Kobra would have trouble beating up Mokap, never mind standing up to the rival clan. In fact, my money's on Mokap for that bout.

I hope next game they give us more details about the Red Dragon. For a clan supposed to be over 500 years old, they kinda sprang out of nowhere in MKDA, and so far have only had two members, Mavado and Mr YMCA. I know they've always been a secret criminal society, but I'd like to know more about their history, and the original Black Dragon's break with them.

I meant Black Dragon clan members we KNOW ABOUT versus Red ones we know about. If it's the entire clan then the one with the more people will probably win.

i have to stick with the Black Dragon, they are the original, even tho the Red Dragon sounds pretty hard the Black is just more ruthless.
