Actually, I have problems connecting to rooms, refreshing rooms, entering them, etc. It says my connection has been lost after it loads forever and tells me to make sure my ethernet cable and router is hooked up properly, which they are.

I've got broadband high-speed... so there's no reason for it to do this.

Not too much lag I haven't experienced. I have been disconnected once though it was weird. I was playing as The Joker the other guy was Batman it started out fine then I jumped back and stayed in a crouched position moving to the back of the screen he hit me I hit him then he said in a frozen position, we had to quit the match. I do notice though that maybe it's just me but I can't pull off the Joker's combos online idk why? could be the square, square sequence doesn't register b/c there's a little lag but ya. Most of the time it's good though, unless you play a cheeser then that kind of sucks :S. A note I have is I have played people who are mostly Scorpion or the Flash. I had one guy that was the Flash that just kept doing that stupid running super move (the one that's klike Kabal's) it got so annoying I'd block it but sometimes when you go to hit someone it misses which is weird at times but meh. All he did was that.

3 things I dislike about ONLINE for this game on PS3.

1- The people who finish a game, or are in game, seem to pop up at the top with the people not playing, which sucks cuz you constantly have to sort by status.

2- The stats are not working, so wins and losses ratio seem to be frozen.

3- Whenever you try and join a 100 Cap lobby, It says there's a connection problem and to check your cables, and then throws you back to the PRESS START screen.

Ya that's true the stats are a little slow. I think I'm like 10-4 in total but it puts me as 0-0. What I also don't like is if you find a good fight and at the end it asks if you want a rematch and both say yes sometimes it works but mostly it says you've lost connection with the person. EDIT: Then again I kind of like the stats not showing up. When they do in most games you get people that just go super cheap to keep that top undefeated streak.

Yeah I had a guy doing the round the world move with Flash, not hit me, then put me in klose kombat over and over. Learned to uppercut alot more often that way. Still won, but what a lame strategy - it turns into nothing but rock paper scissors by chance over and over. Granted, this was on 360.

Nice thanks JayboH I'll have to try that. I kind of stopped doing upper cuts ever since MK4 made them pretty much useless. In the old games upper cuts took of so much damage in MK4 they took barely any so ya.

I've had one guy be Superman and just use that move where he breathes you in and gives you like a hammer hit. Once again annoying and another that was Green Lantern and just stood full screen the whole time shooting all those green gadgets ate me lol. Anytime I got close he'd just jump back shooting things at me. There are some good players online though, since it's new I guess people have yet to learn the exact timing of cheap ways.

I use GL only so far online. It wasn't me as I am on the 360, but I usually do a combo into the grab move, uppercut, and then use 3 hammers in a row using pro moves, then toss a fist projectile, then resume fighting.

I've used Scorpion mainly. I used The Joker 2 times, lost both lol. It's weird idk maybe it's me but I can't get his combos to work when I play online due to lag I'm guessing so it takes it away. I only like playing as him b/c I've laughed at some of his moves well generally the laugh he makes after them haha. His fake gun shot fatality is funny too. I played one guy as Scorpion and he was Batman it was a down to the wire round 3 fight. He won but barely so we played again he was Wonder Woman and I was The Joker, still almost won but couldn't get the combo's going. Other wise the only other 2 losses I had were from the cheap guys.

I'll use whatever moves it takes to win the match. If it's all super moves, so be it. I'm not a big fan of CM's combos but I'll use them when necessary. I've figured out some combos on my own that aren't even part of the kombo challenge that work just fine.

I'll try to do a balance of it, if you leave yourself vulnerable to super moves then I'll use them if not I'll do hand to hand combat. It's the ones that just use super move after super move when they don't get any success doing it to win. Like any other MK game even if you block it, it still takes some damage off so using the clock and just using super moves kind of sucks.
