If you notice in MKD Konquest mode, the Orderrealm looks like Rome in most respects. It also looks like it is in an ancient era. Although with their advanced structure and order, Orderrealm resembles The Roman Republic.
So here are my questions:
1) If you recall in the Chaosrealm part of Konquest, the Orderrealm invaded the Chaosrealm for their water. If you remember, the Orderrealm had that water facility, with pumps, according to that chaos citizen. How can the Orderrealm have pumps, when the Orderrealm is in an ancient setting?
2) If you recall in Edenia, Sektor had you look for a cyborg parts vendor in the Orderrealm so he could make repairs. How can the Orderrealm have that kind of technology, when again, their realm is in an ancient setting.
The Orderrealm shows no sign of advanced technology as what was spoken of the 'pumps' in the water facility and the cyborg parts vendor.
Can someone please clarify this up, or have some logical explanation?

take my advice. whenever something seems like it shouldnt be the way it is, or it shouldnt happen the way it did, just remember; it is only a game.

Yeah, I know, I have thought this through. It is only a game. But, I am just curious. Thats the way I am, I always want to get to the bottom of something that stumps me, heh, heh.

Just because it appears to be in an ancient setting, doesn't mean that it's technology isn't as advanced as ours.

You know, I never thought of that. But, still like I said, it shows no signs of advanced technology. Plus, they use ancient weapons such as naginatas, shields, and swords. If they had advanced technology, don't you think that their weapons would be a lot different?

They could simply just like the way that the weapons work. Or it could be some sort of Seidan Gaurdsmen tradition.
Also, all we've seen of Orderrealm is that one little region. It doesn't mean that the whole realm is like that. Just look at how Earthrealm is portrayed. It's a tiny village. Just because we don't see huge skyscrapers and military bases doesn't mean they aren't there.

All true, but there has to be some explanation. Maybe they don't have that advanced technology to make modern weapons, or like you said, it is just a Seidan tradition or they believe that the weapons fit the ways of order and structure, and guns and modern weapons might be a total opposite from order.

Exactly.
Just like how in real life, there are still cultures that use old weapons like that. And meanwhile in the modern countries, we use guns and stuff.

There weapons might be ancient, but they may have other means of technology, for example the cyborg parts and the pumps.

Hey I get Chrome, thanks. That explains a lot.
For those who don't know what it means, here is two definitions:
1. chronologically wrong: belonging to a time other than the one being represented, especially in fiction or drama
2. not appropriate to the times: out-of-date or inappropriate at the time in question

Also you could think about it like this...
The city that you were in within Orderrealm was said to be a floating city. If my memory severs me correctly, they said that the citizens of Seido had extinguished their water supply along time ago but because they need water to survive, they were forced to get water from other realms.
Chaosrealm is their total oposite and is just seen as their ultimate conquest and, although they needed the water, the pump was mainly there as a display of their power.
anyway back on track. Seido's architecture may look like that of an old civilization, but looks can be very deceiving. To me it seems they just put up a front to look better, or at least different, than they really are. Remember, the Seidan Guard say they stand for law and order, but if you really look at it they only create hatred and opression.

Pretty much the asme is written in Macchiavelli's Prince, the masterwork of political reasoning, still highly shunned by it's nonmorality, but it is obligato-ry to know and employ it for example in the USA goverment.
Search this and the phrase "Will to Power". Seido will become much-much clearer.

Good point as well, this is why I made this thread, so that I can here others opinions.
