this is mka's game that my friends from dominican play. this is how is play

ex:
lets say team A is dan, ganon, and bone
vs
team B has liu, riu, karate

each player from each team has 10 lives. each fight you lose count as a lost life.

this is how it goes.

team A move first and send ganon to fight karate . (karate most fight
ganon no less than 4 time because he was attacked. after the 3 fights he can stop playing if he wants to stop. ganon can stop at any time since his team was the team that made the attack.
at the end of their fights ganon only has 3 more lives to use and karate only has 4 more lives to use.
now team B most move.
team B see that gonon only have 3 lives to use and send liu to attack ganon. and try to take ganon out of the game by beating ganon 3 more times. (note team B did not send karate back to attack ganon because karate only has 4 lives to use and they do not want to risk loosing karate)

now ganon most fight liu no less than 4 time if he losses 3 he is out if he win 2 fight and losses 2 fights he may choose to stop playing liu to save his last life.
one more thing
each player from each team gets one black start. you can use this start to killed 1character for the next 4 fights. ex hilo is going to fight bone. hilo can use her black start to kill bone's sareena. this means that bone can t use sareena in the next 4 games vs hilo. after 4 games he can use sareena. you can use the black start as a team as well. ex if dan is going to fight karate and me and dan are in the same team. i can use my start to kill karate's scorpion and dan can use his start to kill karate's kung lao at the same time.
