Mileena really isn't from Edenia. Sure, the woman she was created from was Edenian, but the Tarkatan part she was created from is Outworld in origin--though, her "parentage" really has nothing to do with her "realmility". She was created in Outworld.

Well, all we know about Edenia really is that when Kahn came, he killed a mighty fuckload of Edenians. Maybe he left more females alive? Maybe he didn't recruit males to serve as his elite warriors as much? Maybe Rain isn't really a dude, but a rather mannish chick? We may never know.
As for Taven and Daegon, I wouldn't really count either them or Blaze as Edenians, or at least, not as Edenian mortals, because they are the children/spawn of a diety.

Rain fights valiantly for the Emperor Shao Kahn. But it would be Kahn's own step daughter, the Princess Kitana who turns Rain against him. Like Kitana, Rain's origins also come from their former realm of Edenia.

yeah now that you say it rain is the only male ever playable in a mortal kombat game that is edenian. since i seen jade's appearance in deception i saw edenia as a realm of amazons since it was taken back from kahn. i also thought it would be a realm of amazons because there is no male king in edenia and the females are in power over there.

I always found Edenia confusing. I know Edenia and Outworld are two different realms but I know that in earlier games Edenia was taken over as Outworld....Does it just mean that Kahn merged it with Outworld and then when they defeated him it went back to normal but Outworld still existed? And does this mean Goro's race now live underground in Edenia or still in Outworld?

1) I said Rain was a chick. And that was a rare and mysterious phenomenon that has been dubbed by scholars as "humor". To be honest, the joke sucked, but I wrote it past midnight. Everything sounds funny when you haven't slept in almost a full day.
2) I never said Kahn was from Edenia, I said Kahn came to Edenia and conquered it, and killed a lot of people.

Look at it this way, a vast majority of Earthrealm warriors are male (Cyrax, Hsu Hao, Jarek, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kabal, Kai, Kano, Kenshi, Kobra, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Mavado, Nightwolf, Sektor, Shujinko, Smoke, Stryker, Sub Zero) and only a slim few are female (Frost, Kira, Sonya Blade). Does that mean there are more males on Earth than females?
No, it just means that the creators created more males than females from Earthrealm. Not on purpose; I doubt they said, "Gee, let's make lots of men from Earth and only a few women...that'd be awesome!"
Just like with Edenia. Of the five known fighters from Edenia (Jade, Kitana, Rain, Sindel, Tanya), only one of them happens to be a man.
Taven and Daegon are unknowns as of right now, so whether they fall under the title of Edenian Male has yet to be seen. We'll just have to wait until October.
