It turns out that Boon has fooled us once more.According to his gamespot
interview he said that 'the meat character from MK4' is unlockable. But
wait isn't Meat the same character as Drahmin?
They're both rotting corpses who look and act identically! Is their REALLY
a good reason to have two characters that are identical. They have more
in common than the MKT pallete swaps!
And from what we've seen from the character select screen,Drahmin
isn't playable from the start so of COURSE we have to unlock him.
Once more we have fallen for an Boon prank.Let's just hope Khameleon is
in this.

This is actually a good theory. But i dun c y boon would have 2 seperate names for 1 person.I think that if this is true then drahmin would just be called "meat" in MK:DA

Drahmin is not Meat. At least I hope not.
If they try and change that it'll annoy me a great deal. I'm sure it'll annoy others too as it would mess up the story as far as MK4 is concerned.

1-Meat still isn't actually confirmed(Boon was only pressured to say "might make it").
2-Drahmin is an Oni=demon. not a corpse.
3-the E3 char select screen isn't final (you unlock Fujin,Kintaro and Reiko in Konquest even though they are avalable on the char select screen.
4-I agree with the point that Khameleon should be playable in MKA.

Meat is a walking corpse that acted as a hidden third costume. He possesses the special moves and combos of whoever is chosen in his stead. He doesn't possess a giant iron club.
Drahmin is a skinless oni that wears a magical mask and has absolutely no combos. His right arm is encased in a giant iron club.
Not to mention, in MKDA, the very first time Drahmin and Moloch see Quan Chi is when Scorpion is pummeling him in Hell. Meat was in MK4, and would most likely know who the sidekick of the Boss was. So Meat, if he is canon, knew about Quan Chi before Drahmin did (If I remember correctly, Quan Chi was in hell for years before running into the oni).
That said, there is very little conceivable evidence that Meat and Drahmin are the same person. Or skeleton. Or Oni.

Wrong. Meat is a bloody SKELETON. Drahmin is a SKINLESS ONI. Drahmin has more muscle than Meat. Drahmin has an iron club for a hand.
See the difference?

Hey,they can change things around.NEVER has a character looked had the
same costume in every game, unless your Liu-Kang.But what Godzilla
said about his relationship with Quan was VERY interesting,if this were NOT so,Boon will probably have some reason for it.

So? Nobody has ever changed their body form, unless your Liu Kang. Everyone just changes CLOTHES. Not their form of body. (Unless your Liu Kang)

How about:
Reptiles constantly changing form.
Sub Zero changing into Noob Saibot.
Blaze growing heaps tall
Smoke changing into a robot
Jax's arms changing to metal
Why can these characters change, but Meat can't. In fact, Meat wouldn't have changed much to became Drahmin - A MEATY SKELETON into a SKINLESS Oni (Is it just me, or would you also expect a meaty skeleton to be under somethings skin...)
In regards to Drahmin's Iron Club, Meat could have just gotten a metal arm as Jax did. Drahmin's mask could have been part of a change in costume as "Everyone just changes CLOTHES"

I do agree with what you are saying about Meat being in MK4, but it about stops there. Reptile, Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot all started out as secret characters as well. However, none of these characters had storylines. Neither did Meat (so he could not have had any interaction with Quan Chi). They developed storylines in the later games - why can't Meat? Is it because he has changed slightly (Just as Smoke changed from being a human secret character into a Robot character). Also, him copying the moves of other characters seems pretty similar to Jade copying the moves of Kitana and Mileena in her first appearance in MKII.
To tell the truth, I am not sure what to believe. It is a very good theory, but I am not sure if it is right. I will still consider them as two seperate characters, however I could be proven wrong... (think Subby and Noob)

Dude WTF, are you out of you're mind?? Well you must be.
Did you read Drahmin's bio in MKDA?? It sais he is an oni.
Now let me ask you a question. Do you still think meat is Drahmin?? Common, that is rediculous...

Drahim=Meat or Meat =Drahim it's the same, at the end both are meat.
And as a character name, Meat is lame.
Drahim alone is enough.

i agree with you 100% buddy.
so if what this thread is about is true,
meat = drahmin
does that mean
goro = kintaro? i mean cmon they both have 4 arms and are built alike, but that dosent mean that they are the same personfurious

Ed Boon coined the name Meat on his website when he was promoting the Mortal Kombat 4 Revision 3 arcade game. He had the text "Meat Lives!"
Anyways Meat is not Drahmin, if you base your arguement on characters looking similiar then all the ninjas are one character, the shokans are one character, all the cybers are one character etc. Im not saying there is no chance that your theory can be right but I think the chances are very slim.
Btw does anyone remember that guy a few years ago who got rushed by suggesting that Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero, man he was right about that one.
