Not really. Li Mei won a fake tournament set up by the Deadly Alliance to gain souls for the dragon king's army. It was a side tournament, kinda like Sub Zero's Lin Kuei recruiting tourney that Frost won.

If you've seen Deception's intro u know Shujinko says, "Raiden was defeated, the Deadly Alliance had won..."

So that's who actualy won Deadly Alliance.

nobody won the deadly alliance

MK:DA isn't a tournament, but a war... and the war won... Onaga, because he defeat the Deadly Alliance and Raiden

scorpion's ending doesn't make sense.

you see the DA with their necks broken in the palace & it says champion

then the ending says the oni defeated you before you got to QC

i don't get it

I've put all the endings together in a coherent fashion; keep in mind some endings are noncanonical, becasue they conflict too much.

Either A: (Most Likely ending)
Kung Lao defeated Shang Tsung (but did not kill him) and therefore saved the world, following which Kenshi killed him. (If you read Li Mei's biography for MK:D you will discover that what she won was Quan Chi and Shang Tsungs FAKE tournament to gain more souls for thier army) Sub-Zero and Frost helped. Nitara's world was removed from Outworld, Movado killed Kano, and almost Kenshi, but Kenshi was saved by Sonya who now has a handpicked team (Jax, Kenshi, Cyrax) of agents whooping Osama and other terrorists on Earth. Jax killed Hsu Hao after he destroyed the base for the Outerworld Investigation Agency. Cyrax is back on Earth. Bo' Rai Cho is training the White Lotus Society. Scorpions BODY was destroyed by the purity of the Soulnado. Quan Chi was killed by(or had his body merged with) Drahmin. Johnny Cage has a NEW box office smash hit. Kitana's crying over her beloved Liu Kang and mourning Goro. And Reptile became the Dragon King.
B:
Shang Tsung betrayed Quan Chi and took over the realms. And Reptile became the Dragon King.
C:
Quan Chi betrayed Shang Tsung and Liu Kang's soul overtook Kano's body and destroyed Quan Chi. And Reptile became the Dragon King.
D:
Kano took over the army and killed everyone, including Sonya. And Reptile became the Dragon King.
E:
Onaka came about through Reptile and killed the Deadly Alliance.

Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are still alive and then Raiden goes to fight them since he was the only one left not to have been defeated. Raiden then loses to the Deadly Alliance. i say the DA won for a few seconds before Quan started beating up Shang
then Onaga came in. Then Shang, Quan, and Raiden team up to try to defeat Onaga but Raiden lets out a huge blast then the palace was destroyed but Onaga is standing there with the amulet. Raiden is alive but Quan Chi or Shang Tsung might or might no be dead.
