This one could go either way, imo. Baraka has the pure strength and aggression, but Reptile could outsmart him quite easily, and catch him off guard.

Reptile outsmart Baraka? or any one for that matter? i love the guy but unless the whole Onaga thing set his mind striaght then hes still a total mess.

anyways if were talking about who would win between them up to this date (MKDA/MKD) then even tho Reppy is my 2nd fav and i thnk he is better gameplay wise and all id go with Baraka cuz he would outsmart Reptile probably. but it would be close.

but if were talking about say MK2 Reptile and Baraka id go with Reptile for sure. he had the force ball back then and the slide. and really even tho Baraka is also a fav of mine he kind of sucked in MK2. dont want to say it.... but possibly the worse?

its definately close but most pick baraka 4-1. i pick reptile. they both rock but i gotta go with reptile. + he always outranks him. in fact, in every mk, reptile outranks him so im guessing he's stronger. even though this doesnt really matter, GO REPTILE!

I'd have to say my boy Baraka would rip Reptile apart.

Reptile is also one of my favourite characters, but Baraka is way more agressive, vicious, and stronger than he is. IMO Reptile would get cut up to pieces in a fight with Baraka, but I do think it would be a good fight.

Remember, Reptile could turn invisible. Baraka is used to fighting his opponents head on with agression. Reptile would win this battle if he turned invisible and dulled Baraka's senses, and that could easily be done if Baraka is hit with acid spit in the face.

Reptile I think would have this battle if he used his natural abilities to his advantage rather than his combat skill.

the problem with that is that Reptile is crazy! like i said i love Reptile but even if he turned invisible i think Baraka would just smell his scent. so it wouldnt be much of an advantage.

as for Baraka being more aggressive and vicouse.... um.... maybe but maybe not. did u play MKDA???? he was one viciouse mofo in that game going all out on Cyrax like a crazy man.... or lizard....

I think Reptile because Baraka is a close distance fighter. Reptile is more of a medium distance fighter. As long as he keeps a good distance, Reptile will win.

Reptile is sneaky and slick. so is baraka. so its not a matter of who could sneak up on who first cuase there gonna cancel each other out. We'll just say its like real mortal kombat game play. Baraka has no REAL long distance moves that can;t be absorbed by acid. reptile is all about it. Barraka may be bigger and stronger but common logic says u can't kill what u can't strike. and as ive proven to ohh so many people over the last decade Simply spitting acid will keep him at a distance forever. one hit and u win when time runs out. Not that he's my fav but there realy is no contest here.
