I disagree.

MK3 on PSX is missing tons of animation. Jax and Sheeva don't even have their complete win poses.

Shang Tsung is basically unplayable on PSX.

Both versions have sound issues.

Smoke is NOT savable on PSX.

SMOKE WAS NEVER SAVEABLE ON PSX. AND THE MUSIC IS OFF, BECAUSE ITS JUST A TRACK OFF THE CD, AND NO ROUND 1 ANNOUCEMENT, LOADING TIMES FOR FATALITIES, ALBEIT SHORT, STILL ANNOYING, AND LOADING IN GENERAL ANNOYING. YOU JUST LIKE COMPLAINING CAUSE THAT THE ONLY WAY PEOPLE PAY ATTENTION TO YOU. SEE YOU GOT MY ATTENTION AND I TOLD YA HOW IT IS. I OWN MK3 PSX. AND TRILOGY. AND TRILOGY FOR N64. STILL LIKE MIDWAY TREASURES 2 BETTER.

Definately not. How can an arcade emulation of the arcade game (anotherwards, THE actual arcade game) look worse than a port of the game fitted to a system with lowend hardware compared to the arcade version. Anotherwards, how can the arcade version look worse than the PS1 version of......THE ARCADE VERSION?

Midway has no excuse for this crap. How could they screw it up, they had the power of PS2 and it far exceeds the PSOne yet PSOne is better???

This is not arcade perfect, the music is muffled and the sprites and backgrounds are ripped from SNES MK3.

umm no. if they were ripped from the SNES MK3 it would look worse and the sprites would be smaller. the SNES MK3 didnt have the graveyard background yet this one does. i can agree with the music being muffled and it is not arcade perfect and you forgot to mention the slowdown in the Pit 3 stage.

Mortal Kombat 3 for the PSX is a great version but like many forum members have been saying, the game suffers from load times which hurt the gameplay.

MAT 2 IS the arcade version of MK 3 emulated on the PS 2. Sure there are bugs but I would rather play the Arcade ROM if you will, anyday.

MAT 2 is the SNES version, Man have you lost your mind? ??....gimme a break. Now I think you are just trying to stir the pot because that is rediculous.
