Would anyone agree to see this release on GBA? A Mortal Kombat II Snes port with alternates- Arcade-style power bars, seperate music for rounds 1 and 2/3 (like the arcade), blue Johnny Cage instead of red and instant options to enable Smoke, Jade or Noob Saibot to fight and play pingpong.

Easier moves to perform

-No need to make Reptile disappear to perform his body fatality; just tap F, F, D+ K and he'll disappear following the torso rip, just like the CPU.

-Acid bath fatality by simply uppercutting oponent. You can even uppercut him in the acid while he's on danger.

Choose alternated outfits by pressing L/R

Imagine it were to release September of 2005, I'd buy it.
*Sighs* Writing this up really makes me wish this would come true.

About Me

My defeat at the hand of the Earthrealm warriors had left me weakened, and my dominance in Outworld was waning. Kitana's forces were closing in. It was only a matter of time before they would overrun my stronghold. Using a powerful magical item retrieved long ago by my minions, I created a clone of myself to draw my enemies' attention while I escaped into the wilds. When I have regained my strength, I will destroy all who opposed my rule.

It would be awesome, too bad they screwed up MK Advance so horribly. But for those of you that played (i used to have it) mortal kombat 2 for the original gameboy it was awesome. Definately the best MK for handheld, at least until MKDA and MKTE. I love being able to just play as Noob and not Noob-Smoke on MKTE!

Firstly, thanks ]{.

Reptile, you never know. Mr. Boon can view this post and probably get an idea and say "Why not". I think it's a damn good idea to release MK2 on GBA.

MK2 on GB is an excellent game. I could play for hours and hours. I used to play it a lot back in Middle School. Too bad I don't have it on GB anymore.

Imagine the Mortal Kombat II release on GBA included a classic MK2 for GB option. Beat the game, unlock GB MK2.

Game linking allows the ability to fight as Smoke, Noob and Jade to play- just for a two-player fun, so you can never go bored fighting one-on-one.

Alternate costumes- Press R on any fighter to select 2nd outfit
Smoke- Press L on Scorpion.
Noob- Press R on Scorpion.
Jade- Press R on Kitana.

I would also loooove to hook it to the GBA Player on Game Cube.

Heres hopeing when MK7 is released there some type of link up from CG to GBA. kinda like they did with Return of the King. u unlock new characters but only if u connect the 2. MK2 Would be grand on the GBA.

MK2?? Only?? Hell, I'd kill to get my hands on something like UMK3 for the GBA. Since MK:A could have quite a few characters, they could combine the sprites from the original games with the increased cartridge capacity (like they did with MK:DA and TW, which had twice the space of the regular cartridge) and let us, portable-console players enjoy the classics at least. Right now I have to dig out my old Game Gear in order to play MK2.

And while we're on the topic of making wishes, why not release something for mobile phones? I'd really enjoy something like MKM:Sub-Zero to play without having to carry a console on me all the timegrin

MK Advance was UMK3 on the GBA. tho it did suck... the best part about that game is looking at the select screen. Very nice select screen... lots of characters too! Too bad the downside comes right after you select your fighter.

MK2 for GBA? Most definently a great idea. Just port over the SNES version... have possible cheat menus... and maybe even ways to unlock Noob, Smoke, Jade, Kintaro, and Kahn. Maybe even "free" Kano and Sonya. All a dream tho...

Well really i dont like how they only have the B, A, L, and R buttons on the GBA. It would be kool to be released on a portable system but for me I would rather see it on the DS which has more of the actual Super Nintendo buttons (all the GBA plus X and Y).

GBA is dead.
MK2 is commecially dead.
It is still in our hearts though.I would have loved Sonya and Kano in MK2!! Too bad they had to make up this story of them being captured etc..

You will play a perfect MK2 on NDS when a Snes emulator will come out or if Midway Arcade Treasures is released on NDS(it will be out for PSP and it will have MK 1,2 and 3)
Meanwhile ,if you have a Nokia Symbian phone you can try the Sega 16 bit emulator called Picodrive or the Snes emulator called Vsun.

MK2 is dead a a single release,i meant.
But within a collection it sells.
Anyway, there's no news yet of MAT on NDS and maybe we'll have unplesanat surprise of not seeing any release.
Midway has changed..now they're very careful where they release the games ..Money talks

I think that having argubly the best Mortal Kombat game released for the GBA would be a good idea. However a Kombat Kollection sounds pretty cool to me. But at this stage of the Game Boy Advance's lifecycle it seems highly unlikely that this will happen. But there is always hope.

Emails will do nothing .No one is gonna reply.
People have be doing it for years requesting MK Gold ,MK Deadly Alliance or MK Deception to be released on PC .No succes.
So there will be no MK2 on GBA.There will be no MAT on NDS.
You will only play the classic MK games on NDS through emulators.

What happens in November?
Anyway there's always the option of Sega Genesis emulator.
One of these 2,Genesis or Snes ,will be playable on NDS.

Too bad there's not a MAT release on NDS.
I guess Midway are scared about that second screen being a pain in the a** . I would just pt a dragon logo there and that's all.:))

Can't they just make a gameboy exclusive MK? I grow tired of every MK getting a weak sauce port for portables. I want a new, fresh MK.

Expectations?

1: Make GOOD fatalities: Every portable MK fatality goes too fast and looks more like a "I hit you and you now die move". I want to savor every second of my foe's unorthodox demise. I would love to have the full screen fatality cut scenes they had in MK 4, but unlike MK 4, this won't be the only reason you want to play a match.

2: Blood: Gamegear blood is good. Gameboy blood is bad. The gameboy releases had no blood. (How did MK3 get an M rating....) MK 4 only had blood in fatality scenes (looked okay for gameboy) MK advance, well, very hard to see and it doesn't hit the ground. As for DA/TE? Yuck, blood never looked so bad.....

3: Repair the broken combo system: No infinite combos (Evil stare at scorpion) and stop reducing my IQ by saying I did a 5 hit kombo when only one hit connected-BLOCKED.

4: Fun!
