If Midway can see 5 feet in front of them, they will be releasing a Mortal Kombat compilation with Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat 4, and Mortal Kombat V: Deadly Alliance on one disc, ALL ONLINE, for $39.95 with extras.

It would be nice, and I'd certainly buy it (though would rather MKG than MK4 personally). But there's no way it'll happen for years yet. There is one reason why it won't... (drum roll please) MONEY!

Why should the Midway marketing team agree to release an MK compilation pack like the one you suggest. They currently have MK2/MK3 doing the rounds on MAT2, can still sell MKDA in the Platinum range (or whatever Xbox/GC equivalents are) prices, and MK1 is either out, or coming out on one of those plug n play TV game thingies. Retro gaming is a big thing right now, and like it or not, releasing their older games seperately with other stuff for now brings them more money from us fans (personally, I only bought MAT2 for the MKs). Releasing them on seperate compilations means more people will buy it in the long run, as non MK fans might buy the pack for other games, but would avoid an all MK pack. Sad but true.

Beleive me, I would love an all classic MK compilation, and buy it straight away. But it won't happen for a long time yet.
