On Saturn's Mortal Kombat II during the story mode if you press Down, Up, Left, Left, A, Right, Down, B, Y, C, and Start you'll get a hidden cheat Option, as well as a few extra menus when you pause the game during a battle.

On Saturn's Ultimate MK3 during the Copyright screen where it has all the legal mumbo jumbo press C, R, A, Z, Y, C, Y, R, A, X then Start. On the kombat kube press up to reveal a "?" box. In there you can turn Freeplay on, or off, as well as Fatality time, and any of the three Ultimate Kombat Kode Fighters.

Those are the simplest codes of the two games that give you pretty much everything. Have Fun!!

Mortal Kombat II for the Sega Saturn has to be the worst game I have ever played. I payed $20 for a Saturn via internet auction, and $40 for MKII. Worst investment I've ever made. Thought you'd might like to know that. HAH!

It is true that MKII for Saturn completelly was done very bad. Acclaim had the power to make an excellent arcade duplicat and they failed. However they made up for it when they redid MKII and put it on the same disc as MK1. I have the Saturn version of MK1 & MKII on one disc, and MK1 is arcade identical as well as MKII. They realy took the time to make it the best. I wish they had done it the first time around. One last little tidbit on MKII for Saturn. If you enter the Cheat Code, and during battle pause the game you can defrag the ram so the sound effects they did put in the game load much quicker.
