If Liu Kang had been alive throughout Deadly Alliance
If he was there to help the Earthrealm warriors, I'd say they would've defeated the Deadly Alliance, then would've had to deal with Onage shortly after. Shang Tsung got rid of Liu for a reason.

From the DA intro:

"With their combined strength, they plotted to overpower the only two beings who could prevent their total domination of our two realms....It has been Shang Tsung's desire to consume the soul of Earth's greatest warrior."

There's your reason...

If Liu Kang was alive then Shang Tsung would have been defeated by him again. If Liu Kang was with his allies then they would have not been defeated by the Deadly Alliance.

It was a good think that Liu Kang was not there because I think that Cage, Sonya, Kung Lao, Jax, and Kitana would have been killed by Onaga after they defeated the Deadly Alliance. But if Liu Kang was there, Raiden would not act like he did in Deception.

Raiden would act the same in deception either way It was Shujinko's fall into deception, and put the eartrealm and warriors at stake. He was angry with Shujinko.

Think about it this way, I miss Sonya but if Kitana hadn't died, Braka would never have managed to get to her prison and release Mileena. Meaning Mileena would still be there. Perhaps Scorpion wouldn't have fought Moloch and Drahmin and wouldn't have been cast into the Soulnado, meaning he wouldn't have had as good a story as he has now. If LIu hadn't of died, then the Dragon King wouldn't have had his undefeatable army. Sindel wouldn't have had to fight Onaga.

whats wrong with all of you. of course the da would have won. they were indestructable and they killed him. what difference does it make where and when. if they are both together against liu like in the intro, he would die. they even defeated raiden. and raiden could take liu.

what im saying is: intro=da kill liu.
soooooooooooooo: if they hadnt of killed him b4, they would kill him after. they are more powerful.

if liu didnt defeat kahn in mk2, would kahn win? of course not. liu was more powerful so he beat him. the da were more powerful so they defeated liu. simple.

Nah, cus Liu Kang didn't have any buddies around and got double teamed. These guys are saying, "What if Kung Lao put down his porno magazines for ten minutes to see what all the noise in the courtyard was, then it would've been two on two... so the good guys would have won." And MK:DA never would have taken place, which would have been the greatest thing to ever happen. Too bad Liu Kang doesn't have a special move that turns MK back to 2D.

If he had been alive it would have sucked. I was tired of Liu Kang winning all the tournaments and shit. Scorpion was everyone's favorite, and he never got to win. I can only hope that his ending is the true one in Deception.

But if he was alive, he and Kung Lao would have probably fought Shang and Quan and won, then Deception would have been an entire different game, or been really different.

Raiden wasn't just mad at Shujinko, Jinko just pushed him over the edge.

And about Liu Kang. If they hadn't double teamed him when they did, there would have been a possiblity that Liu could have teamed up with Kung or Raiden in the final battle and they would have defeated the DA.

But they still wouldn't have stopped them from bringing back Onagas army.

Raiden wouldn't have sacrifice himself the way he did, but would have still died.

Liu definately would be on the DK payroll (I don't care how good he was, LIU CAN NOT BEAT THE DRAGON KING!!).

Bo' and the resistance would definately lose to the tarkatan hored.

Ermac would still be doing his own thing.

there is probably more but I can't think of any right now.
