I could be wrong, but I thought you had to get a double flawless without blocking and then perform a fatality, but even still there were characters you couldn't use because there was a block in their fatality (for example, you couldn't use Scorpion because his fatality is Up, Up, Block).
I played Mortal Kombat on SNES, so maybe it's different for other systems, but I don't know. Maybe I could have been blocking and using Scorpion all along, instead of using Liu Kang.
Can anybody clear this up for me? I am confused now.

To Get Reptile
Arcade/Genesis
Must see an object floating over the moon on the PIT stage...Like a little alien or head and such as. Must get a double flawless victory and perform a fatality. The only person you can not do it with it Sonya. Her fatality is F,F,B,B,Block. Scorpions is just Up,Up. And is easily pulled off without pressing block.
SNES
Unlike the Arcade and Genesis versions there is know floating objects in the pit stage. Same applies though. Double Flawless and fatality not with Sonya.

You can hit block in the Genesis and SNES versions and get Reptile, as long as you get the double flawless victory.

On Genesis/Megadrive, be sure to use the DULLARD cheat (at the start/options screen press D,U,L,L,A,R,D) to force objects to fly past the moon. Can't remember which flag it is. Might be two, not sure now.
Conditions are:
Double Flawless
Fatality
Don't press block
Tip, if you screw up one of the rounds and get hit, lose it!! This way, you can try to get a double flawless on the other two rounds of the fight.

You shouldn't use flag 1 if you want to fight Reptile because if you do, then you'll beat him with one hit too :). Set flag 1 if you just want to see him but leave it off if you want to fight him properly. You know you're a real pro when you Flawless Reptile :).

About Me
I never got those Bazooka Joe comics, in the first frame someone says The Sky is Falling and in the second frame some one is getting hit in the head with a rock, and Im sitting there going, What the hell just happened? and before I know it I've swallowed my bubblegum.

You have to be on the pit stage first of all. Then you have to get a double flawless victory without any blocking. Youll then face a match against Reptile in the pit bottom.

I heard if you do a fatality on reptile, his skeleton is green. True? Can you even do a fatality to reptile?

0
as far as the SNES version goes... block all you want during fatality. I've done with Scorpion (holding block, and pressing up, up) lots of times. In fact I think I always do it with him. And as far as the SNES version goes... Reptile's skeleton is never green once you've pulled Sonya's or Scorpion's fatal on him.

In the Genesis versions, yes, his Skeleton is green.
Also, on the Genesis version Reptile has a fatality, which is a pallete swap of Scorpion's.
You need to enable the Flag in the cheat menu that makes the computer do fatalities when they beat you, and, well, lose.
It's basically, green skull (Reptile face), green fire (acid), green remains of you.
EDIT: I just tried getting a GIF of him doing Scorp's fatality, and he did Sub-Zero's, I'll get the two gifs up asap.

This secret is sooooo 1993, get updated.
You can do Scorpion's finisher with out using block I can at least for the SNES one all I do is go at sweep and tapp up up really quick if it doesn't work then jump and as your coming down like about to land press up up. Usually when your at sweep though and you press up it gives u a half a second delay to press up again so idk you should be able to do it.
