Hornbuckle is the guy fighting Blaze in MK2 on The Pit 2 stage. He is a Pallete swap of Liu kang, His pants are green and black instead of red and black. That's basically all I know about him.

how'd he get the name and is that really blaze fighting him?

I don't know how he got the name. I guess it was created by the fans? Not quite sure, and yeah, that's Blaze (supposedly)

its all fan made...like most storys in the mk community.

Idk if thats Blaze fightin him but he got the name from the artist that I think created him (or some shit like that) and her name was Sarah Hornbuckle.

Hornbuckle is the green Liu Kang in the PIT II background of MK2.

In the SNES port of the game,one of Jade's clues is "Hornbuckle who?"
this refers to one of the programmers whose last name was Hornbuckle,
but fans assumed that was the name of the green guy.So thus,the name
has stuck.
