3. Dan "Toasty" Forden is known as Dan "Toasty" Forden because of that thing, so what makes you believe that he has actually been saying "whoopsies"?

Well, in a way you're right. He DOES NOT say "toasties" he says "toasty" Dan Forden is the guy who actually says it. If you don't believe me, take a background check on him yourself. The way it came about was when the game designers were playing and when one of them hit a good combo, uppercut, etc. They would say "Toasted!" It eventually found its way into Mortal Kombat II when Dan Forden randomly comes up and says "Toasty!" But hey, why believe me, take a look for yourself.

Please do the following:

1. Boot up Mortal Kombat II cartridge/arcade console
2. Select Scorpion.
3. Win two rounds in any fight.
4. When you are told to "FINISH HIM/HER", enter the following command at any distance: Down, Down, Up, Up , High Punch
5. Observe fatality.
6. Observe text on screen bearing word "Toasty!" occurring simulataneously to said soundbite.
7. Smack self on forehead.

Just stop playing Mortal Kombat.
