In all of the classic mk's what do you think were some hard fatalities to do without any codes? For me it was Reikos kick fatality, you had to press a shit load of buttons at the same time. Another hard one was Scorpions mk2 sper fatality, I remember having trouble with that one.

With me, MK4's fatals were at times hard to do...
Reiko - Hold LP+LK+HK, pres F,D,F,BLK Easy
OR hold 3 out of 4 buttons, press F,D,F,4th button...heh, I don't even know if fdf is the right direction inputs lol

The hardest fatality for me to do was always Scorpion's Layer stage fatality in UMK3. Nobody had difficult button hits for the fatality, it just looked so bad that I phyiscally couldn't do it.
I would have say one of the hardest is Sub Zero's fatals in MK II.
Scorpion's fatals in MKII (The spear one) and Liu Kang's is easy I'd say. For Liu Kang's all you have to do is hold block and move the controller 360 degrees clock wise i believe or maybe counter clockwise.

For me, any fatality where the distance is "2/3 screen" or "outside sweep." Not because of the button presses, because I can never get the distance right.

You must be kidding if you think MK2 Sub-Zero's are hard.
Yeah, sweep distance fatals piss me off.

the only fatality that was ever hard for me to do is kung lao's hat fatality in mk2. sometimes i could get it but most isnt. scorpion's spear fatal in mk2 was too easy. just hold hp then move in and press d,f,f,f and let go. simple. liu kang's was hard til i figured out exactly how to do it. i can do it anytime now.

Heh, listen to Vers. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to Sub.

Yeah Kung Lao's was a bitch!
But I had a hell of a time with brutalities. I could only poll off Kitana's.

Conceptually, the hardest Fatality to pull off would be Shang Tsung's Kintaro Morph. Having to hold LP for 25 seconds against a good MK2 player wouldn't be the easiest thing to do, and it's a sweep distance Fatality, I remember many times it just not working at all.

actually, i found doing all the fatalitys without cheats being quite easy infact, the only fatality in a while i have had trouble with was mk:da (YAY!) reptile's fatality, mostly i found out i was hitting up only twice instead of three times.
but um, reiko's thrust kick fatality is hard at first, but once i got the hang of it, i could always perform it, though it has been a while since i played it, i might not be able to pull it off for a while

True...hardest to pull off because you can't do any special moves/morphs. Against a good MK2 player it's almost impossible. But remember, if you start holding LP before the round starts you don't have to hold for 25 seconds. Then, get right next to them, tap back and release...there's your sweep distance.

Konqrr, that's a good point about holding it at the beginning of the round, I hadn't thought about that. Holding any charge move at the beginning of the round will allow it to happen instantly, so if you begin a round as Liu Kang or Jax, press LK the instant before fight and let go and the charge move simply happens.

Yeah Rayden/Raiden's were hard too. I forgot about them.

Lui Kang's fatalities were a bitch, or more to the point, slightly confusing.
I always get 'em round the wrong way.
I play mk, i use the command for his fatality in mk2, and vice versa.
I only learned how to perform his mk2 cartwheel fatality properly a few weeks ago, when somebody on these boards told me.
Why would you make fans use the opposite direction to what they had to do in the previous game?!

To me the hardest fatalites where not because the actual button combonation to do the fatality, but it was because of the controller. I regretalby bought the genesis version of MK2. As many genesis owner know that the Sega Genesis controller only has 3 buttons. I never bought a 3rd party controller. I dont know why but I never did. Any way there was like no way to get all the buttons like,HP,LP,HK,LK. I was able to perform most of the fatalies but the biggest I never could pull of on the genesis controller was Shang Tsungs Kintaro Morph,sub-zero's ice ball of death, Kung Lao hat fatality( I raraly got the timing right to get the head off :.\)

iono about any of you but there isnt a fatality thats hard to do. there was only one i didnt know how to do for a long ass time but once i figured it out its always been easy (liu kang's uppercut fatality in mk1/mk2). the only thing i hated was the short time they give you in the arcade versions of the earlier mk's
