By crom! Conan enters kombat!

The Khaos Reigns era of Mortal Kombat 1 will continue into 2025 as Kombat Pack 2 delivers more guest characters from the realms of other well known multimedia franchises. This time it's the Cimmerian warrior destroyer of the Hyborian Age who crosses over to cross swords with new enemies. Take a peak at the first look at Conan The Barbarian!

NetherRealm Studios Creative Chief Officer Ed Boon shared a 34 second preview to X (aka; Twitter) with confirmation of an official Early Access release date of January 21st, 2025.

The clip pits the barbarian king against his perfect counterpart, the brutal once & future emperor General Shao, showcasing the powerful swordplay that will be the basis of the Arnold Schwarzenegger-inspired version of the classic Robert E Howard pulp hero. Take a closer look below:

Conan will follow this month's horror cinema addition Ghostface and precedes the arrival of another Arnold screen nemesis - the liquid metal T-1000! Khaos Reigns has also added a new story and all-new versions of Sektor, Cyrax, and Noob Saibot.

Iron Studios Mortal Kombat Scorpion Fatality Deluxe Statue Preview
Sub-Zero gets Toasty in future merch!

Thirty years on from the Mortal Kombat that started it all -- the klassics continue to resonate with fans who can't get enough of that vintage arcade action! Iron Studios has looked back to MK's history to find inspiration for a dramatic new deluxe limited edition statue that will thaw the iciest fan with its Toasty Fatality staging. Take a closer look:

Big Bad Toy Store has posted a pre-order page that showcases the 1:10th Scale Scorpion Fatality Statue that recreates the iconic finishing move on klassic frenemy Sub-Zero.

The product seems to take direct inspiration from Mortal Kombat II, sculpting a 10.6" (26.9cm) tenth scale scene in polystone, with mixed media hellfire highlights that appear to light up from within with LED assists. The extra flourish makes it all the hotter from Scorpion's flaming skull to the torturous flame engulfing Sub-Zero, who can be posed facing his foe, or succumbing to the inferno.

The thrilling statue has co-creator Ed Boon's nod of approval. He exclaimed "Holy Kow !!!" while sharing a preview image to X (aka; Twitter). It will set you back an equally stunning $549.99 with $110 Non-Refundable Down Payment for a projected release date in 2025's Third Quarter pending approval. Weigh this up while you feast your eyes on more images below:
