Blown away. Everything is exactly what i've been wanting. A new very large ogre type character is literally what I said they should have last week. Plus to have some creep riding him? Excellent.

I can see some people problems though. The new characters are very different than what MK has offered before. In my opinion that's what the game needed. Something different and more experimental.

I couldn't be happier with every thing they showed. The x-rays, i'm glad they're a new color and style. And those fatalities..I can't believe they're getting away with those. So fuckin brutal, I love it

You have horrible taste. The new characters look awesome. Infinitely better than anything from DA-Armaggedon. They look to have great designs technically and stylistically.

Go away. Mortal Kombat is finally back to being an incredible franchise and a top fighter.

That midget plus big dude struck my curiosity...who receives the fatality and what happens to the other? Also wondering if due to the size will any fatality come off as looking awkward? Lol love the ideas of fresh new characters just still hoping to see Johnny cage make it of course . Also wondering if these new characters may have been recruited in since all the death that happened last game and so new faces have shown up to be either on earthrealm/out worlds side or the nether realms side

I'm surprised to see some ideas that got thrown around by the fans here...

One poster was asking for an insect-like creature and even hankypanky seems to have gotten a tron-similar look with that big blue guy's tats.

I'm really digging the vibe that this game is instilling - a dark and mysterious upgrade like MK2 was over MK1. The water stage is amazing. I can see a secret character being found there.

There's a female character with mottled yellow skin, who seems to be surrounded by or carry small insects. She wears a tattered black cloak with a heavy hood. Her weapon seems to be insect-like appendages that come out of some point in her body, not unlike Doc Ock.

There's a very large male character who carries what looks like a little person or small child on his back (not clear if the little character is male or female). The little character is sometimes tossed or flies toward the opponent to attack.

We also saw flashes of a male character with bluish skin and Aztec-inspired armor pouring blood on his face.

MK fans despise change. They'll be thrilled to remain in 1995.

Am I crazy or is that Tanya at the 2:10 mark? Performing the Fatality on Sub-Zero?

Figures they show new characters. Was hoping to see some others return to try and figure out just what the hell is up with the story.

Some of the characters look like they didn't belong in a MK game. Wasp lady looks like a comic villain, the green dude reminded me Ogre from Tekken.

Big dude with the midget alright and gave a Netherrealm vibe.

Design wise they didn't wow me, nor did the few moves. They looked better then the absolute worst (Kobra, Jarek) but that's about it.

Gotta agree with some of the statements that if you took out Scorpion & Sub-Zero it doesn't even look like a Mortal Kombat game. Stages looked awesome though.

It does look like NRS is taking a few pages from Injustice and adding it to MKX, pretty big risk IMO. We'll see if it pays off I guess.

no one mentioned yet a different costume for sub zero in the fatality sequence with scorppion.

Bee Lady might as well be in a comic book (like we need more superheroes) and the Big Man/Little Thing combo is just very goofy. Also kinda feels like something from a comic book. I hate how all big guys have to be dumb and controlled. He'd be much more interesting by himself.

Aztec Man has to be from War Gods. I think he looks cool.

These better not be the only new characters or I'll be very disappointed. I might be able to get used to them but that's just my initial reaction right now.

This trailer gave me the same dark vibe as MK:DA. If the new direction keeps it on that track.......I'm all for it!

These two new characters are fucking amazing. I can already tell I cam going to enjoy playing with them both. I can't wait to see more.

I am truly stunned to see people already saying they're ditching the game after two trailers that hardly gave us a more in depth insight about what this game is going to feature. You're really sitting here saying you're ditching this game already? Jesus, some of you are really the nit pickiest bunch of people I have ever seen. We have no clue who these new characters are, and already they're getting hate. We have no idea what to expect other than going by two trailers. I mean honestly, what in the world will make you people happy? Because I'm lost for words here.

And yeah, I did enjoy the trailer, because that's something I wasn't expecting. I had no clue what Boon meant when we saw his Twitter thing saying that he's going to be showing us two brand new characters. For all I know, I was guessing that it was just a character we saw already and he was just lying out his rear end. But man, already complaining and saying that you're not even getting it. Please, go away then.

I was also hoping for one returning character to show up (i.e. Fujin)...I'm worried that there will be too many new characters and they won't get a chance to revisit people from the MK4-Deception era that had potential.

Well at least the snowy stage from the trailer made it in. So there's something good.

Also, really not feeling the "Fight" and "Finish Him" style text. I know UI can always change and I hope it does in this case.

I'd lost much hope of any kind of new character looking original after Deception, but they really impressed me with this 2 and I want to know more about this game!! My hype level is over9000!!
